  2. Well they picked the wrong game. The B1G conference championship was a fantastic game and both should still be ranked #1 and #2. Bama should be out. If the results of these championship games don’t matter, why play them?
  3. When I watched this game, I felt like I could have been watching the, weren't you once the baddest guys on the block, SEC champ game. Hats Off to UGA for getting well earned revenge. But nothing in the history of CFB comes close to this Hoosiers turn around. Indianapolis just put on a 15-round championship fight, decided at the end by an Ohio State knee too soon down, and the same game FG whiffs we saw out of TOSU vs Michigan in 2024. Old School was the rule of this game. First outright Hoosiers B1G title since 1945, two years before my birth. First title since 1967 under coach John Pont. Pont took Indy to the Rose Bowl, where the Hoosiers lost 3-14 to Oregon grad John McKay's Trojans. Some guy named O.J. Simpson was the game's MVP. PO - Indiana, Ohio State, Georgia, Texas Tech top four seeds, OBD vs. the Tulane Green Wave. Wave Off Tulane!
  4. Kiffen is used to being hated. He may even miss it a little? Campbell's new life is going to be a living hell and the money won't help. Oregon, Washington, USC, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio St, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, can all beat Penn St. Penn St used to kind of be top tier in the conference because there were only two good teams before. Now, they have clearly dropped a level. They should have went with some young, hip, urban hot recruiter who was an assistant at a named program. Now they are just going to try to win with 3 star guys.
  5. How Miami? Beat Notre Dame. The Committee will not keep N.D. out so have to allow Miami (especially now as ACC's only rep) 9 - N.D. or Miami 10 - Miami or N.D. 11 - Alabama - SEC runnerup will not be left out 12 - Tulane If Oregon is 5, they play 12. If Ole Miss is 6, they play 11. Would the Committee rank Tulane No. 11? They already played Ole Miss in September and got thumped. Ole Miss and Alabama did not play this season.
  6. Ohio St is the better team. Sayin is not an all around QB, just an accurate arm when he is not pressured. Ohio St blew it on their last two drives, which they moved the ball. Indiana has a lot of energy and they get stronger as the game wears on. But their receivers do not get open. Mendoza throws it to them when they are covered. The window is about as large as a postage stamp. Oregon could beat either of those teams. They could lose to both just as well. Georgia looks tough. Time to get the 5 seed and beat up on somebody.
  7. JMU or Tulane. How does Miami get in when they couldn’t win a championship in a conference with a 8-4 conference champion?
  8. Yeah they get in as the 5th highest seeded conf champ. I just don't understand the seeding part of it. If they are the lowest ranked seed, then we play them.
  9. Tulane and JMU for the other conference champs would be my guess. I am going with ND and Bama with Miami out in the cold. The ACC is awful this year.
  10. Yes, Virginia, There is a Duke. 😁 A(ll) C(atastrophic) C(onference) 🤪
  11. Duke won, so JMU gets in I think. I don't think a putrid ACC champ game that Miami didn't compete in boosts their chances to get in.
  12. So do we get Miami, Tulane, JMU, Notre Dame or Bama?
  13. Wow! Well, that makes it interesting for the committee. If they keep Miami out, there will NOT be an ACC representative in the playoff.
  14. Hoosiers - played their butts off 20-15 – Iowa 30-20 – Oregon 27-24 – Penn St 13-10 – Ohio St
  15. OSU game threads are ripping Hartline apart.
  16. Today
  17. BRUTUS: Indiana wants you! You can't go back there at all! OBD's good loss just got gooder. 🤪
  18. Duke will win in OT. They’re just prolonging the agony.
  19. Haha they tie it up! What massive screw up on Duke's last offensive series to give them so much time to march down the field against a loose defense
  20. The lack of fans at this championship game tells me they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Embarrassing turnout.
  21. 9/10 – Notre Dame/Miami 10/9 – Miami/Notre Dame 11 – Alabama - unlikely the SEC Champ loser falls out of top 12. 12 – Tulane 13 – James Madison Does Texas factor? In the 5 vs 12, 6 vs 11 scenario Tulane has already lost to Ole Miss in September. Would the Committee put Tulane at 11 to face 6 Ole Miss? Ole Miss did not play Alabama.
  22. Duke trying to give Virginia a chance. Two free timeouts. 94 yards, two timeouts remaining and 1:44, touchdown needed to tie.
  23. Once again, Ryan Day’s head will be requested to be served on a platter. He had the ball inside the red zone twice and scored zero points. Kind of like the Michigan game last season.
  24. Personally, I think Alabama should be out.
  25. The good experenced quaterback prevailed over the good inexperenced quarterback.
