I like any format with 3 or 4 auto bids for the B1G. This way you go into the season knowing what you have to accomplish to get a shot at a national championship. Your fate is in your hands not the committee's. The fewer at large bids the better in my opinion because we all know that the sec will get the majority of those at large bids.

And Oregon beat Penn State on the road when they were ranked #2 and USC by a larger margin than Notre Dame did. A&M’s SEC schedule was a joke. Like Ohio State they didn’t play any of the top teams in the conference- no Georgia, no Bama, no Ole’ Miss, no Oklahoma. Texas might have been the first ranked SEC team A&M faced this year.
