  2. Alabama will beat Georgia again in the SEC title game and we are still alive for 1-2-3 B1G in the final playoff rankings. It’s a beauty contest right now between Oregon and Texas Tech for #3.
  3. Teams at the top of the SEC standings with A&M Georgia Ole Miss Alabama Texas Oklahoma Vanderbilt Tennessee Which of these teams has A&M played this season? Answer: Texas. That's it: Texas. They did win 41-40 at Notre Dame.
  4. Basically the team is very very average at best, a lot of guys who haven't improved and nobody who has come into the program who can be a difference maker. Our two best players can't play defense together on the pick and roll. Bittle isn't athletic enough to hedge out and Shelstad isn't big enough or quick enough to get around the screen. We really struggle to defend when those two are at the point of attack. Opposing guards killed us. I miss Dante.
  5. ESPN is going to battle hard for Texas to get a playoff spot. I would guess A&M drops behind all of the other one-loss teams. How far will be determined by how Oregon does against Washington.
  6. It ain't over until... OK, it's over. With a few minutes left, the Cigs are smoking Poor Doo 56-3. And the final score is Indiana 56 - Purdue 3, One half of the conference champ game is set. Going to have to spend some cash if you want to watch the B1G title game in Indianapolis, a one-hour drive north of fraternity row. For this short a trip, no more than one six-pack per Hoosier required 🤪.
  7. That would be fun.... But I don't think that would ever really happen. There is a still a massive talent gap between the top and the bottom. Especially when it comes to the end of a season. I mean in the 2022 Rosebowl Utah went up against Ohio State which had some of their biggest players sit out for the draft... And lost. Yes they lost their star QB but I don't think that would have made a difference in terms of the final result... Maybe the score board would have looked nicer but OSU would have gotten the win regardless.

  9. I think the champion would typically be the team playing the best in December, with a little luck, and a little depth. Wouldn't it be fun to see a team like Utah inexplicably knock off a team like Georgia from time to time and make little Cinderella run?
  10. The champion would be the team lucky enough to avoid injuries through a 16-game season.
  11. Forgot OBD Forum (and members) and FishDuck
  12. My tea leafs indicate it is between those two almost for sure. Important to remember there are also other suitors for both of them, including PSU and either Ole Miss or LSU depending on how Lane breaks. Fisch being distracted at the very least 😂
  13. My review is we have another year where we improve enough to have 12+ losses and be a bubble team that might win in the round of 64. Salty? Yep. But lobbing it into Ewing just doesn’t work anymore imo.
  14. Anything to mitigate the beauty contest that still exists. If there was a “perfect” way to get to 8, it would probably be enough, but there isn’t.
  15. Shot selection, shooting, turnovers, transitions, fouls, teamwork all went wrong. The team should get better, but I was giving them more credit than they have earned. My green-yellow glasses sometimes blur my vision.
  16. As noted by friend Solar, Dawg does not bite Man, but does sting Yellowjackets. UGA 16 -Tech 9. My guess is that Kirby knows the Smart approach is for Bama to play A&M in the SEC champ game.
