  1. Past hour
  2. Seems like it is more hassle than return....beginning with this post? IMHO anyway...
  3. What tragic news. Kim seemed like a person with a kind heart. Her dedication to providing interesting and informative content to this forum was a big factor towards contributing to the excellent commentary and discussion on a wide variety of Duck related topics. She will be very much missed by the Duck community. RIP Kim. You were and will always be an outstanding Duck.

  5. We live in the Portland metro. I wondered if: it's a good idea? Possible? Legal? We have plenty of room for a couple to give them a private double bedroom, private bath and a good breakfast before starting them off to Eugene on game day. We could also arrange for another night and breakfast before they jet back to Columbus if they prefer. Have any of you ever done anything like this? I would love some informed opinions and experiences from those who have been there. It sounds like it could be fun. What do you all think?
  6. I realize I am in a very small minority, but I liked (not loved) it. It was especially because it was instantly recognizable as Oregons. The Ducks have always prided themselves on not being afraid to be different, and they made a statement. I cannot say I had any problem watching it on TV either. I look forward to whatever they come up with next, on both the court and the Football uniforms.
  7. He is from Torrance, California and is 6'2" 320 pounds. Nose Tackle! (That first name is a little off-putting. Maybe better for the 'Devils and Dilly?)
  8. It will be interesting to see how much Laulea actually plays this season. There is some stiff competition for playing time at DB, if everyone stays healthy. I believe he is a 3 to play 2 guy, so there is some flexibility depending on his progress.
  9. Holy Toledo! Season Tickers sold out? Two game packages is all that is left....in mid-April?
  10. Wowsa. This corner is fricken 6'4"...a CORNER! He was the No. 1 JC player in the nation at all positions. The DBs are DEEP baby!
  11. Dilly is such a good guy, a class act. I cannot help but cheer for him in the Big-12... (So much more nobility than I...)
  12. Good gosh...what a flake. To think we heavily recruited him...about three schools ago. Murmurs from ASU camp of immaturity and being concerned about how good other ASU QB Sam Leavitt has looked in spring practices. Sorry for Dilly. (Beyond us poaching one his best coaches of course)
  13. Yes, you stack these kinds of kids. The #2's are what give a team the edge. Kids get hurt and you need as little drop off as possible on game 14 on the way to the Natty. You basically want two teams on defense. Play them all, all the time

  15. Details and timeline for Oregon Ducks new basketball court at Matthew Knight Arena The process of removing the old design started earlier this week at Matthew Knight Arena, with the floor being stripped down and sanded to its blank canvas. The Oregon Ducks social media account posted an image of the blank floor on Thursday. Details for new Oregon Ducks basketball court at Matthew Knight Arena DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Everything you need to know about the court redesign taking place at Matthew Knight Arena.
  16. Given the fact that we had multiple injuries to starters on defense for the Pac-12 championship game last season I say stack up as many as humanly possible.
  17. I agree. Was reported on USA Today. Oregon football player Daylen Austin charged in hit-and-run that left 46-year-old man dead WWW.USATODAY.COM Police said the fatal crash took place just outside of downtown Eugene, Oregon. Daylen Austin is charged with failing to perform duties of a driver in a crash.
  18. Photos from Oregon's 10th day of spring football practice Here are several dozen images DuckTerritory's Jason Fairchild captured from Oregon's 10th day of spring football practice on Thursday. 19. I'm surprised there aren't more rules about courts markings. Especially the out-of-bounds lines. If you are a new official in the league, seems like it might take some time to get used to variations? Look at Maryland, for example. The out of bounds line is white and in some places it borders a white perimeter. Maryland unveils new court design WWW.NCAA.COM In anticipation of the 2015-16 basketball season, the Maryland introduced its latest design for Gary Williams Court at XFINITY Center.
  20. It makes me ill that a national news agency was reporting this on their front page. All the political stuff, and then..."Oregon Player Arrested for Hit-and-Run." Lovely, not the way I want national press...
  21. According to the Register-Guard: "Austin was arraigned at the jail on Wednesday and was charged with failure to perform duties of a driver to seriously injured persons." I have absolutely NO inside information, but the fact that it does not appear that Austin was charged with DUI, MIP or Manslaughter leads me to believe that the Eugene police believe his only crime was not remaining at the scene. His next court appearance is May 22, but I expect that we'll get more details from the UO/his attorney/the press in the next few days. It wouldn't surprise me if a statement is made late tomorrow, to limit the distribution of the story by national media to over the weekend and not during the busier weekday news cycle.
  22. In the 2022 class, he was not only a top-50 player (No. 32 on On3) but also an actual Rivals 5-Star, of which is darn hard to attain. The No. 2 Safety in the entire class? He just entered the portal in this spring session. I noted it in another thread assembled by NJDuck, and was surprised considering the depth of the DB room at the moment. From ScoopDuck.com: "Matthews is going to be one of the most highly coveted transfers in the open market this Spring. He fits what Oregon needs as well. The cherry on top is the fact he’s only a junior-to-be so he’ll have multiple year of eligibility left. As we know this one early on is Oregon and Florida State so we’ll see where it goes." I guess if you have a shot at a talent like this--you stack them up? Jacoby Mathews | Rivals.com N.RIVALS.COM Jacoby Mathews - Defensive back for Texas A&M on AggieYell
