Last play in regulation... if Bridges was still in the game, could he have jumped, got some elevation and deflected that last pass?

If my memory was right, James was covering and his feet were on the ground when the receiver went up and caught the ball.  If Bridges and his 6 -3 length and long arms plus a jump could have went up and got a piece of the ball, Oregon would still be undefeated right now. 

 

But I think he was kicked out for targeting on the first kickoff. 

 

Anyway, I was thinking that James should have tackled the receiver before the ball got there and made them run another play.  Better than letting a taller receiver go up and get that perfectly thrown ball. 

 

I'm going to try and stop posting and get back to my life.  That game is driving me nuts.

And great point about Bridges; I forgot, and that could have changed the game in the Red Zone...to have him available for each time?  Great stuff oregon112...
