30Duck do you think Baylor and a few other Texas schools might have made a nice addition to the PAC?

 

Would have opened at least a couple of games a week in the CST zone. Not to mentions Texas 4 and 5 stars watching those games.

They absolutely would have. Larry Scott had a bizarre need for exclusivity, the Pac-12 Network, and he did not want Texas. who has its own Network, to join.  The SEC took Oklahoma and Texas because it pretty much guts the Big 12 now, not because either will make a tangible effect on the SEC. 

We asked Texas and Oklahoma to join the Pac several years ago. It was a done deal.

 

I heard Texas pulled out because they would have either shut down their TV or merge with us.

AND, would have had to share revenue equally, which they don't have to do with their Longhorn Network.
