Yes!  McKinley! Super Safety!

He has been a monster in this one. Talk about showing up when it counts.

Our we losing him after this season?

Quiters never win

I don't even have a problem with Shough or ISM transferring after the season. You don't leave your teammates, as a starter midseason, ever!

Ruh roh Scoob!!!!

Jonathan Smith up to his old tricks again. Didn't he do this same thing last year with the onside kick?

Dammit!  Ducks getting banged up.

Dad gummit! First Sewell, now Thibs???

This is not right!

4th Quarter is a typical example of playing not to lose, instead of playing to win.

Our defense is at the level we saw the first three quarters, because of Sewell and Thibs. Time for the offense to step up and help out, special teams too!

Un-flipping believable!

How can the Ducks not be ready for an onside kick there. Miserable coaching .

Other than McKinley, our DBs are not very good.

Wow! Just wow! Jonathan Smith is in another stratosphere coaching wise then any one of our staff. Comes out makes the adjustments and is beating us 18-7 in the second half as our staff plays not lose.

Except I guess for all the goofy 2 point conversion attempts that weren't needed.

Mario has been getting caught with his pants down, around his ankles all season.  This should come as no surprise.

The offense and special teams has to bring this one home. I give the defense credit so far, Sewell is out.

We need to burn time, yardage and score!

Strategically he is on par with Helfrich going for 2.

Why oh why do we have sooooo many false start penalties????

We have something wrong with our cadence or something.

And there's another one.....right on cue.

Which lineman wasn't guilty of a false start in this game yet?  I think every number on that OL was called already.

The kid didn't go for the ball he waited.  They were prepared, just didn't attack the ball

Fire Mario!  I was stressed for a few seconds in the 2nd half.

I don't see any evidence of Oregon "playing not to lose".

Now if we can get these kids to finish off mediocre teams by mid third quarter...

They got better.  Now they need to get the knife out quickly and guy teams they're better than ASAP.

That is the next level I want to see MC get to.  Nine thousand points on offense a game, three points on defense.  LOL

With 1:38 left... Verone McKinley gets ejected for the first half of the next game for targeting. Dude.... also, why is the first team defense out? This is garbage time.

Oh jeez. Now we are down 3 of our 4 best players next week....at least in the first half. We are in big trouble against Utah.

Nevermind.

Oh, I guess they decided that it wasn't targeting... anyone have insight on the targeting rule in general? It's quite confusing how it's enforced

wow, they overturned it... can we pull every single starter now?

They overturned it because of the fact it would of ejected Mckinley from the first half next week.

Yes, every single starter should be pulled at this point. OSU is now attacking our players. DUDE!

I really feel like you shouldn't pull all your starters when you only have a 9pt lead. I get what y'all are saying though.

Once again we gave up 20+ points to the Beavers in the 4th quarter. That is unacceptable in my mind.

And we lost the second half 26-14.....a sign of a team letting up.

Super happy we won, but we just don't seem to have that killer instinct.

We're up by 9 though so it's a 2 score game.

Yeah they screwed up on the score keeping and they said it was 31 to 38 when I was typing that.

Who cares now the game's over woohoo goducks!!

I love the passion, but the beavs are looking like Erickson's thugs. I suppose the beavs are puling in fringe players, but Smith needs to control those kids.

The bigger picture here is how is Oregon going to handle the team that gave them one of the most embarrassing losses in recent history. And one could hardly argue that Las Vegas is a neutral site for Utah since it's a state over. But either way Oregon travels pretty well on the West Coast so it should be hopefully pretty even as far as fans go. But that doesn't matter when it comes to the fact that we were outplayed in every facet of the game last week and we can't afford to get our asses whipped again.

Does Oregon want to go to the Rose Bowl, have pride? Plenty to play for on Friday. I say they show up, and make it a game.

The Utes think they own us, won't have the edge they had last time, at home.

The bigger question is Sewell, not that he has ever been stopped, but we need him, badly.

I give AB kudos, warrior with the ball! He made some nice passes, and will have to this Friday.

A good "civil war" victory!  A great deal of improvement on offense and defense for 3 quarters!.

But when are we going to cure those false starts?

When will we improve pass coverage on the easiest pass to throw - the slant?

Hope everyone heals quickly!  Beat the Utes!

Let's hope that the thought, "It's hard to beat a team twice" still holds.
