DON"T GIVE UP ON THE PLAYOFF

Recommended Posts

B12 Champ Game - Baylor defeats OK ST.  That's a 2 L Baylor B12 Champ. No big OOC win.

B1G Champ Game - Iowa defeats Michigan- That's a 2L Iowa BIG champ. No big OOC win.

AAC Champ Game -Houston defeats Cincinnati - That's an off the radar No. 24 Houston . 12-1 conference champ Houston is a G5 team without the Cincy love.

SEC Champ game - UGA rolls Bama. That's a 2l and many the close call for Bama. UGA 13-0 SEC Champ

Notre Dame. Cincy loses to Houston and ND's 1L looks worse. And ND plays 12 not 13 games. 11-1 NDs big 25 win Wisconsin, lost today at Minnesota. ND's schedule is exposed.

Pac-12 Champ game - Oregon pays back Utah and than some. .Oregon has to put it to the Utes. 11-2 OR has a win versus top 8 (?) Ohio State And a win versus top 25 Utah. Oregon is a conference champion.

Even if your scenario plays out exactly as you’ve laid it out, I still don’t see Oregon making it. Oregon, to be sure, has a great win at Ohio State,  but its two losses were horrific. The loss to an awful Stanford team was possibly even more humiliating than the beat down in Salt Lake City.

Oregon is out.

" ... And here comes the oh-one pitch ...  and a swing and a miss on a fast ball! Strike two! You're out!!!"

Interesting Jon. We may have lost the best chance at eliminating Alabama today.  They should have never tied it in the last minute.

I was thinking the same thing!!!! I still thinks it’s possible, college football is so unpredictable… no one picked the Ducks to beat Ohio St., but also, no one picked the Ducks to lose to Stanford 😕. Michigan killed Ohio St. and they won’t have a chance to redeem themselves. But the Ducks can erase the Utah loss if they can beat them in Vegas. Especially if they have a convincing win.

Our playoff dreams died last night, when Stanford got rolled by Notre Dame.

Had Stanford won and the chaos happened that you listed above, we would’ve been in.

The PO com will get Notre Dame in there somehow. OK state may find a way in too.

The only way the Ducks would have made the PO is if they were 12-0.

Let’s focus on the Rose Bowl.

Yup Oregon out this year. The Stanford game was bad, the Utah game may have been worse, at least based on Media commentary. Media seemed to give a pass to Stanford but not the blowout versus Utah.

A P12 Championship and Rose Bowl would be a terrific season and accomplishment.

Everyone remember - this is the youngest team in football. Future is very bright if team sticks together.
