UO Press Release: Oregon Pauses Men’s Basketball Activities

OREGON ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE |TUESDAY, JANUARY 12, 2020

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon men’s basketball program has paused all team-related activities because of COVID-19 protocols.

As a result, the Ducks’ games on Thursday, Jan. 14 against Arizona State and Saturday, Jan. 16 against Arizona are being postponed. Rescheduled dates for those contests will be announced when finalized.

Very sad. Up to now we have at least been able to play in all sports allowed.

We really don't have a clue as to how much COVID affected UO Football this last year.

Was this Omoruyi? Coach said he wasn't feeling right on the trip to Colorado and Utah.

Altman said it wasn't related to COVID-19 as the team tested him twice and both tests came back negative.
