FYI, Michael Penix, Jr., 4 year starting QB at Indiana, though often injured, has signed on with UW as a grad transfer.

If Lanning flips Darris Smith, that might deter Cyrus Moss from considering Oregon.

Descent numbers when he is on the field.

Sounds like perhaps UW is not showing a lot of confidence in Huard taking over.

I think the reverse, would encourage him to stay with Oregon.

How is that?  They play the same position and both are blue chip recruits, though Moss is higher ranked.

Yep, and it's down to Oregon or Arizona for WR, Tetairoa McMillan. He is expected to announce Thursday or Friday.

Trying to see the cup as half full but it is tough. As recently as 30 days ago we had 22 verbals I believe. Maybe Coach Lanning can bring a few more in.

I wonder if Lanning wants to keep options open until he has a chance to figure out team needs based on new coaches coming after December.

The current roster is stacked and young, and not many recruits will see playing time next Fall.

Thanks, my pleasure. Daughter and SIL are coming over in a few minutes, so I'll be off the grid once they get here. Go Ducks!

Hopefully he'll follow suit soon.  They haven't really said they're a package deal, though it's kind of been implied.  Tucker committing is a good nudge in the right direction for Oregon to get Florence too, though he might be waiting to see who Lanning hires for his potential position coach before committing.

That one hurt! A direct impact of C-offense and his leaving.

I feel like the unknown status of Coach McClendon contributed to him going to Michigan...if perhaps Lanning had already signed McClendon up to come back then maybe Clemons signs with Oregon.

Hats off to all who have contributed. Especially Annie and 30.

Looks like the Ducks will, post Mario, finish #1 in the conference again but watch out for Riley and SC in 2023.

Hate to see talented Oregon kids leave the state. I would love to hear Lanning make that a goal. Cristobal went after this and it would nice to see it continued. If we want an Oregon kid he should be ours!

I think there are 77 freshman on this team. We can get a little beat up on this cycle until Lanning get his equilibrium.  I am not worried about this class but Lanning needs to find success in the portal.

Don't know if it was mentioned yet, but all of these guys are highly rated DEFENSIVE players, with 3 LBS.

Does my heart good

I agree last year I felt focused more on offense. This year's goal was defensive.

That Anthony Jones get from Texas is very nice. I think they may move him to TE.. although he hits like a truck at LB and DE..he has great hands, size and speed for TE. His highlight reel sure doesn't look like a 3* kid... Reminds me a lot Colt Lyerla maybe without the issues....
