Jon Joseph No. 1 Share Posted April 11, 2022 Scotty Scheffler, who just won the Masters by 'a lot,' won his first PGA tournament on 2/13/22. Now, he is #1 in the world and a Masters Champion. Here's the football connection that grey, grey beards will get. Scotty went to the same high school in Texas that produced Bobby Lane and Doak Walker. WillieMosconi No. 3 Share Posted April 11, 2022 At seven, I remember sitting on the living room floor in front of a huge radio listening to Walker’s Mustangs beat Van Brocklin and the Ducks in the Cotton Bowl. I think it was close, something like 13-7, but could be off on that. SMU had another great player on that team - Kyle Rote. He’s automatic from 6 to 8 feet….it’s the two footers that give him trouble. It’s nice to be able to four putt and know it doesn’t matter.
