Pop out by Tanner Smith down the left field line.

A single to center field puts OSU's lead off batter on base.

 

Ayon strikes out the next hitter on a check swing that wasn't checked enough.

 

A strike out looking gets Ayon his second "K".

 

A single to right field puts runners at the corners.

 

A batter hit by the pitch loads the bases.

 

Ground ball to Gavin Grant and he tosses to Josh Kasevich forcing the runner out at second base.

Anthony Hall goes "YARD" to right/center field.

 

Josh Kasevich lines a single over the shortstops leaping glove attempt for a single.

 

A swinging strike out by Jacob Walsh.

 

Kasevich steals second base.

 

Josiah Cromwick hits a line drive single into center/right field that brings Josh Kasevich in to score.

 

Colby Shade with a ground ball to the shortstop and his throw to first base is wide of the base for an error. Ducks at second and first with one out.

 

Gavin Grant is out on a fly ball to just in front of the warning track in deep center.

 

Tanner Smith with a swinging strike out ends the top of the inning, but Ducks have opened a 2-0 lead.

A sacrifice bunt to the right side of the infield moves the runner to second base.

 

Ayon falls behind 3-0 before walking the next batter on four straight balls.

 

A single into right field scores the first run for OSU. Runners at the corners.

 

Ayons' third walk of the inning loads the bases.

 

A called third strike for the second out.

 

The next batter hits the first pitch down the left field line for a double, scoring two more runs.

 

A fly ball out caught by Tanner Smith at the warning track ends the inning.

Drew Cowley hit a ball into the right/center gap for a double.

 

A sacrifice fly to deep center by Brennan Milone moves Cowley to third base.

 

Anthony Hall hit a fly ball to deep left field that is caught in front of the warning track that scores Drew Cowley.

 

A single to center field by Josh Kasevich continues the inning.

 

Jacob Walsh can't hold back on his swing and strikes out to end the inning, but Oregon has tied the score.

I'm surprised to see Isaac Ayon still pitching. He entices a fly ball out to left field.

 

And there is the fourth base on balls today for Ayon.

Drew Cowley scoops up a ground ball down the third base line and throws to Jacob Walsh at first base to end the third inning.

A ground ball out by Colby shade to the second baseman for out number two.

 

Gavin Grant pops out to the first baseman in foul territory.

Ayon pitches into the fourth inning. The first batter grounds out to first base.

 

A double to left field puts a runner in scoring position.

 

Ayon hit the next batter to put runners at second and first.

 

Dylan Sabia in to pitch for Isaac Ayon.

 

Sabia gives up a three run shot to left field.

 

The fifth walk of the game is given up to OSU.

 

A single to right field puts runners at the corners and still only one out.

 

Beavers gift an out as a pitched ball in the dirt entices the runner to try and take second base where he is thrown out.

 

The sixth walk brings us back to runners at the corners.

 

The inning ends on a fly ball out to Colby Shade in center field.

A wild pitch moves both runners up on the base path.

 

Brennan Milone strikes out.

 

A fly ball out to right center by Anthony Hall scores Tanner Smith and advances Cowley to third base.

 

Josh Kasevich singles into center field scoring Drew Cowley.

 

A line single into left field by Jacob Walsh keeps the rally going. Runners at second and first base.

 

Josiah Cromwick ends the rally on a ground ball out to shortstop.

Ducks bring in Tommy Brandenburg to pitch. A lead off double lands just inside the left field line and rolls into the corner.

 

A fly ball out that turned Anthony Hall inside out making the catch falling down on the warning track allows the runner at second base to tag up and score.

 

Ducks bring in Matt Dallas to relieve Brandenburg, and he gets a ground ball out to third base.

 

A single into left field ends Brandenburgs day. Rio Britton in to pitch.

 

Another single advances the runner to third base. Runners at the corners.

 

Britton gets the next batter looking at a called third strike.

Gavin Grant legs out an infield single to third base.

 

Grant is picked off at first base.

 

Tanner Smith singles back up the middle.

 

Drew Cowley ends the top half of the inning on a fly ball out to left field.

Britton working into his second inning. Ground ball out to Gavin Grant at second base.

 

A line drive single through the left side of the infield.

 

Ducks are out of the inning on a ground ball double play, third to second to first.

In the bottom of the 7th inning;

 

What started out as game in bright sunshine has now turned into a light rain. Rio Britton continues on the mound for Oregon. The first batter singles to center field.

 

A swinging strike out with the runner stealing second comes next. Britton has gone full count on those first two batters.

 

An excuse me swing places a ground ball to first base that Jacob Walsh handles unassisted for the second out which allowed the runner to move to third base. A replay showed that Walsh was late on his tag and the runner should have been safe at first base, but "that is the way the old pickle squirts".

 

A wild pitch from Britton allows the runner at third to score.

 

A line drive straight to Josh Kasevich at shortstop ends the seventh inning.

Next up is Gavin Grant, and he is the potential tying run, but he fouls out to the right fielder for the second out.

Drew Cowley leads off for our Ducks, and draws a free pass to first base on a full count.

 

Brennan Milone is next at bat and he got all of a pitch which he drives over the left field wall for a two run bomb!

 

Anthony Hall is the first out on a swinging strike out.

 

A ground ball out to second base takes our Ducks to their last out.

 

Jacob Walsh quickly gets behind 1-2 before getting called out watching a third strike to end the game.
