That puts us with the best of CFB. And yes that's why the big boys don't want to play in Autzen. They say it's because they would lose money but we all know what they really are afraid of losing, THE GAME!

I'm too lazy at the moment to look this up, but I remember a few years back that UGA paid a few hundred thousand $$$ to back out of a game with Oregon.  I think Tennessee was going to try to do the same but decided to take their beatings instead of write the checks. 

 

Of course that was then....now UGA is the heavy favorite when we finally meet.

Yes, in Atlanta which is actually a home game for them.

Texas A&M were able to get out of their home and home agreement due to a conference realignment clause in the contract. So they joined the SEC to avoid Oregon. 

 

Well not entirely but they didn't have to cancel the series but they did.
