Just an all around excellent game. So impressive.

And there's nothing wrong with giving up 30 points to UCLA, which is the least number of points they scored all season. They average 40 ppg,

Great coaching.

If you have two evenly matched teams, isn't that the point?  To see which team, can get the other team off their game and playing out of their element...

I thought this was going to be a much closer game, but the Ducks may be that much better.  DL and KD Won the Day.

Great coaching.

Oregon needs to play at an elite level to win a Natty. Giving up 448 yards/30 points to a good team may be fine for a team not playoff bound, but Oregon needs to do better to be an elite playoff contender.

I agree though, great coaching in-game today.

I agree though, great coaching in-game

I don't think we're playoff bound or an elite team. But they're playing very good football... in the Pac-12.

Maybe in another year or two, we will again be elite. But unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to go to the transfer portal again for another quarterback next year.

ESPN: Oregon's onside kick spurs victory over Chip Kelly, No. 9 UCLA

It was a play Oregon had been practicing all week in secrecy, taking advantage of an opening they saw in UCLA's kickoff coverage team.

Lanning even told members of the media who saw them working on it in practice to keep it quiet. The incoming rain also factored in.

"I told you don't tell anybody or I'll never let you come to practice again, right?" Lanning said postgame with a smile. "We saw it after the first kickoff, and we felt like, OK, that's the look we want, we think we got a chance for it. It looked like there was some weather coming in. We felt like if there was a chance to steal a possession it would be before the weather really hit."

This game has been receiving more national coverage and this is one article that is worth your time reading...

Oregon took a page out of Chip Kelly's playbook Saturday, using an onside kick in the second quarter that helped propel the Ducks to a 45-30 win over No. 9 UCLA.
