Grace VanSlooten's status up in the air for this weekend, Ahlise Hurst cleared to play

Injured guard Ahlise Hurst, who'd missed the past three games with injury, has been cleared for full contact drills,

while freshman forward Grace VanSlooten spent the day in a walking boot watching from the sideline.

"Grace did not practice today and she is still a question mark for the weekend," Oregon coach Kelly Graves said.

"She was here though and feels better. She's still wearing a boot. We'll see. We're hopeful."

Ducks outlast Washington in down-to-the wire affair

Oregon's scoring depth helped avoid what would've been a devastating home defeat to Washington on Friday evening.

With the top scorer a game-time decision to play, and the second-leading scorer off the mark, reserve guard Taya Hanson

keyed the Ducks victory with a game-sealing three with 25 seconds to play. The shot put the Ducks up six and set them

up to escape Matthew Knight Arena with a 65-58 victory.

Ducks Grind Out Win Over Huskies

Oregon surrendered the lead in the fourth quarter but made big plays down the stretch to beat Washington on Friday.

The Ducks got a scare Friday from Washington, but the Oregon women's basketball team pulled away down the stretch

to beat the Huskies 65-58 before 6,497 fans in Matthew Knight Arena.

"I congratulate Washington — they played hard, played really well, gave us everything we can handle," UO coach Kelly Graves

said. "But I'm really proud of our team. We made the plays down the stretch, especially defensively and also on the offensive end.

It certainly wasn't our best game tonight. But it's a Pac-12 win, and that in the end is what matters."
