The Ducks are one of 64 teams in the postseason tournament while the full WNIT bracket, along with matchups, dates and times, will be revealed Monday at approximately 11 a.m. PT. The first-round matchups are scheduled to begin March 15-17 at 32 host sites across the country. UO is one of two Pac-12 teams to accept a bid into this year's WNIT (Washington).

"Obviously, the goal each year is to qualify for the NCAA Tournament," said Graves. "Having said that, if there is an opportunity to play meaningful basketball games, we are going to pursue that. There are a lot of teams right now who are done with their seasons, so we feel fortunate to have the chance to continue playing – and to play again in front of our great fans, for hopefully multiple games, at Matthew Knight (Arena) is always exciting."

Kennedy Basham to miss WNIT opener, everyone else cleared to play

Freshman reserve center Kennedy Basham is not expected to play in Oregon's WNIT debut against North Dakota State on Friday. Head coach Kelly Graves chose not to get into details, but did suggest she could return for future games should the team advance.

"I don't think Kennedy will be available for Friday," said Graves, who clarified it would be an injury absence and not anything else. "We're hoping [she can play]."

The 6-foot-7 true freshman has appeared in 16 games this season and has averaged 1.8 points per game and 1.4 rebounds per game, while also blocking 1.3 shots per game. She blocked three shots in seven minutes in the team's loss to Stanford.

"It's a great opportunity and it's going to be fun," junior guard Te-Hina Paopao said. "We get to play in front of the home crowd and my favorite fans ever. I'm just excited to play at Matthew Knight again. A lot of teams don't have the opportunity like we do to keep playing in March. Te-Hina Paopao’s 24, Endyia Rogers’ triple-double send Oregon women’s basketball past NDSU in WNIT

A program four years removed from a Final Four appearance hosting a program with its most wins in 18 years was every bit the mismatch it was drawn up to be.

Te-Hina Paopao shot a ridiculous 9 of 11 from the field, including 6 for 7 from three-point range en route to 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists and Endyia Rogers notched UO’s first triple-double since Sabrina Ionescu to lead six players in double-figures for Oregon in a 96-57 trouncing of North Dakota State in the first round of the WNIT Friday night at Matthew Knight Arena.

WBB recap: Ducks cruise past Bison in first round of the WNIT

For the first 10 minutes, the Oregon Ducks women’s basketball team looked like they hadn’t played in over a week.

But then the Ducks turned on the jets and blitzed North Dakota State 96-57 to advance to the second round of the WNIT where they will host Rice.

The first quarter seemingly featured two evenly matched teams as the Ducks held just a slim 19-15 lead. That was a mirage. Oregon outclassed the Bison for the remaining 30 minutes to win by 39 points in front of 2,703 fans.

Ducks nearly notch 100 in WNIT debut dismantling of North Dakota State

Less than a week after missing out on the NCAA Tournament for the first time in six years, Oregon made short work of North Dakota State in its WNIT debut.

Perimeter stars Te-Hina Paopao and Endyia Rogers paced the way with Paopao hanging a game-best 24 points and Rogers notching her first career-triple double in the 96-57 victory. Rogers finished with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for the first since Sabrina Ionescu's departure three seasons ago.

Paopao hit her first six three-point shots to continue her red hot shooting. The junior has now made 34-of-51 threes over the last six games, and has connected on at least five in five of six games.

Six total Ducks reached double-figures with Chance Gray finishing second to Paopao with 16. Grace VanSlooten (12), Ahlise Hurst (11) and Taya Hanson (10) also joined them.

Endyia Rogers posts Oregon's first triple-double since Sabrina Ionescu in blowout win

Endyia Rogers became the first Oregon player since the NCAA's triple-double queen's departure to post a triple-double in Friday's 96-57 blowout of North Dakota State in an opening round WNIT game at Matthew Knight Arena.

The triple-double was not only the first since Sabrina Ionescu posted her record 26th and final in the spring of 2020, but also the first of Rogers' career.

Veteran Guards Lead WNIT Victory

"I thought we played great," said UO coach Kelly Graves, whose team broke the game open with a 16-0 run in the second quarter. "I thought we really set the tone defensively. We were good tonight defensively, forced them into some turnovers, were able to get out in transition — especially in that second quarter. And then it just kind of kept going."

"We're making the most of our opportunities," Rogers said. "We're still getting to play. There's people that just got knocked out today and they're going home, so we're just making the most of our opportunity and going as far as we can."
