Always cause for concern, but the biggest difference this year is we don't have a coaching staff that plays down to the competition.

Nope, it was 2012, we shut out Arizona.

When was the last time OBD shut out a conference opponent? Wasn't it Cal?

The only thing I think is, what if we had kicked the field goals and lost by 3 or 6 points? Would we the fans be just as ticked that he kicked field goals instead of going for it and trying to get a TD?
It's easy to look in the rear view mirror and see how it went, but we also don't know how being down by x amount of points would have made the huskies play differently.

Please don't pass. Too many bad things can happen....

Where did Bucky go?

A mediocre player from a bad team? I guess!
Isn't that what we thought about Bo Nix when he committed?
I'll take him over Flowe.

New OC for the ducks?

Wasn't that targeting on Nix?

I'm waiting for the Colorado kickoff time to be announced. Need it to be a bit later so I can get to the game after work!

Beavers D looks sharp!

Flowe might be a good player, but if he doesn't settle down, he is going to be more of a liability. Every game he has played in he has cost us yards. He is consistently a day late and a dollar short to his tackles.
I'm not sure if he is trying to be aggressive, or of he thinks it makes him a better player or he is finishing tackles? Look at Noah if you want to see an example of how to play well and not be a liability to your team.
-
Two things are clear.... Bo Nix is still Bo Nix... just like A Brown, they don't change. It's time to try our young guns.
Additionally, I've thought this in every game that Flowe has played--he is over rated. He consistently makes late hits and it costs the ducks. Maybe he is trying to play with an edge, but to me, he plays dirty and it has cost yards every game he has played in. The narrative is that he is the better player over Sewell, I'd take Noah over Flowe every day of the week and twice on Saturday. I wanted to see how he did today before I voiced this, but he hasn't changed... not a Flowe fan.
Go Ducks, let's hope we remember how to make second half adjustments.

At that point they'd probably drop any academic requirements entirely.
Let's face it in the age of NIL some of these kids are only interested in the money anyways. If NIL wasn't a factor would Nico have chosen Tennessee? Would Rashada have chosen Miami?
Probably not to both... They aren't going to either of those schools for the education either.

How good is he at recruiting?
He learned from the best, and he is available. Coach Campbell always had better RB recruits than we've had in the last five years.

I am thinking:
HC- Mariota
OC- Barner
RB- LaMike
OL- Kyle Long
WR- Jeff Maehl
DC- Michael Clay
LB- Kiko Alonso
Special Teams- Cliff Harris
Who did I miss?

I bet Elijah Molden is wishing he had picked Oregon over UW right about now....

True that! I've been a silent reader of fishduck for many many years. The new evolution is great!

Gotcha. I trust that the coaches will make the right choice. It doesn't stop my heart from being in my throat every time AB throws a pass, knowing that his history shows he is half as likely to throw a pick, vs a TD.
Either way, I love my ducks and can't wait for the season to start.
-
AB had/has a 2 to 1 TD to interception ratio... that doesn't bode well for PAC12 play, or sound like a PAC12 QB. I wish him all the luck if he gets the nod, but like others have said, his ceiling is where the other QBs start.

Definitely a common carp

I want the best player at the position on the field. If Happle has it, then let him play. If he doesn't have "it" he will get buried in the depth chart.
I don't think CHL would have transferred if he thought the coaches would play him over better players because he has "been there".
Just my thoughts....

Heck yeah! Get 'er done! I'm ready to be excited about a Duck RB again.

It would be epic to have played in the first 4 team playoff and the last.
Especially if the final game was against Ohio State and we took them out behind the wood shed and spanked them.
