Yep, on August 7th, 2011....my web developer texted me and said, "we're live," and the site began with publishing articles. Since that time we have published over 7,000 articles, and yours-truly has written over 700 articles. This birthday is for the article site, FishDuck.com, although the forum did come into existence many years later, and it is very special to me.

We serve thousands of readers and OBD members, and do it all for free, thanks to all the volunteers, and your patience with the ads, and backlink references in articles.

We are all great at giving a spirited opinion, while not taking personal shots at one-another. It is a rare set of sites, and I thank everyone for being a part of this fun.

You run a great program here, Charles. Congratulations and cheers to many more!

AnotherOD brought this to our attention yesterday that Jurrion Dickey was suspended.

Oregon wide receiver Jurrion Dickey suspended from team

A former five-star recruit, who has just two catches in as many seasons with the program has been suspended by the staff amidst actions detrimental to the team.

Hoping Jurrion can get the help he needs. Special talent!

From the moment osu2, fornerly tOSU, left Eugene they have loudly shouted to the college football world that they wanted a rematch.......

Coach Day and Buckeye nation...be careful what you wish for.......

    GO DUCKS.............

Giving DL and Co this much time to prepare gives us the edge. Furthermore, Denzel cannot cover Evan or Tez. Ferg and Sadiq are a matchup nightmare.

OSU run D looked better against Tenn, but i am confident in our hog mollies to open up lanes for Jordan and Noah.

I like Jabbar shadowing Jeremiah, and i have faith in Nikko, Brandon, etc on the back end to do well against Egbuka.

Burch, Harmon, Jamaree and Matayo are the X-Factor in my eyes. If they cause havoc and move the line back play after play so Treveyon and Quinshon don't get going downhill like they did against Tenn, we are in great shape.

I also expect a lot of pressure on Howard behind the LOS with Tosh drawing up some exotic blitz packages. Will Howard, in my eyes, is not built for this.

Lastly, for crying out loud we have the ice man, DG8. I'll leave you with that. In the biggest moments, in the biggest games, he does what he does.... and that's be great. I sleep like a baby knowing he is our field general. It feels like he is destined to bring OBD all the damn way.

Go Ducks, BLAST THE BUCKEYES 2X!!!!!!!!!!! Will be rooting my tail off from Delray Beach FL. "WE WILL OBLIGE HIM".

  4. tOSU showed they are the second best team in the country. Indiana solid but definitely not close to a great team. Had some really brutal mistakes that ended up costing them. I mean that dropped snap on the punt.... golly.

Cignetti certainly got ahead of himself, but it was a nice story. Will Howard trolling him a bit post-game. I can't wait to see Matayo and Co. hit him again 🙂

Hoosiers were out-physicalled in the trenches. Dan will have the OBD OL, once again, prepared for Knowles' schemes up front.

First things first..... BTHO the FUSKIES!!!!!  Go Ducks!!!! Have a great Thanksgiving week everyone.

However, our ranking this week has to do with what we have been able to put together since Boise game. There is not a team that has played up to the standard they should over the past 5 games more so than OBD. The talking heads tried sounding the panic alarm after two weeks, but now Dan has the boys ready to steamroll. "Taking care of business".

Not to mention the team above us lost... HA

  6. Yes, we are deserving of the #1 spot for now. I think as long as we win out (in convincing fashion when needed) we will rightfully sit at #1.

UGA win against Horns looked big on the surface, but then you look at UGA loss to Bama and see how the Tide have looked over the past 3 games (not great). Also think it was a matter of time for UT to play someone with a pulse.

Unless Dawgs boat race Tenn and Ole Miss consecutively (could happen) and OBD has a suspect outing/drops a dud (not expecting this), we should be OK at #1 going into the B1G championship.

Staring down another top 20 win this weekend, and we will sit atop the rankings once more.

WE'RE NUMBER ONE!!!!!! Cheers to all. Oh and yeah...... DEMOLISH THE ILLINI.

Texas is losing this week, so is Miami. The last time Oregon didn't play on Saturday was fun, this one will be even better.

Agree with TX, Kirby will have Dawgs ready. Horns are good but I myself am not really sold on them just yet.... this weekend will be obviously be telling.

I think Miami unfortunately squeaks another one out in painful fashion. It's never pretty when Canes play a team with a pulse (Cal, VaTech). I think they are HIGHLY overrated.

Badgers are feisty and much improved..... but if we play the way we all know we are capable of I think we walk out of Madison with a 10+ point victory.

  8. I think the only possible way he gets canned is if -

    1) they lose to UM AGAIN (>1% chance of this happening)

    2) they somehow drop a dud against a bad team and somehow end up out of the B1G championship (also not very likely)

I think it would be a mistake to fire Day, but I also see where the Bucks fans frustrations are coming from. However, those peeps are out of their minds. A lot of the outrage stems from the copium that maybe OBD were just plain old better. We've sent the fans into a downward spiral..... joyous! Have to direct the anger somewhere! Poor Ryan Day, man.
