  1. I am overly excited about Dan Lanning and the possibility of Kenny Dillingham for OC. BUT…..our verbal commits are falling like flies. Now today Luli is reopening his recruitment. Lanning needs to get this staff put together quickly and start engaging with these recruits and making relationships. Not a fan of him coaching during the playoffs. All this does is tell recruits to wait.18-21 year olds are not going to wait ( I wouldn’t)! Ducks football comes first!!!

How many first time head coaches have made it to the CFP or took their 1st program to the National title game? Ohhh. I can think of one.
The difference between being a DC or OC and a head coach at this level is real. Nobody knows how he would do. Total gamble and looks like another 3-year crash and burn. How many mistakes can we make and still have talent look at Oregon seriously.

    Uhhhh Lincoln Riley

Sorry, that's just how I see it. Lanning has no significant head coaching experience and now he's going up against guys like Lincoln Riley, Whittingham, Shaw etc.

    This ain't ideal....

Not sure who Lanning will go after. Someone he knows already or someone completely new to him?

Though in truth he can't really model Oregon's offense off of Georgia because one thing became blatantly clear... If Georgia is in a shootout they are going to lose. Need an OC who can put up more points with a more explosive offense.

Georgia is built on a defense that stops the opposing offense in it's tracks and allows their offense to punish the other team all day. I'm fine with that ... I'd just like that offense to be able to score on demand because it's that good.

Well Brady took 2019 LSU to prominence with Joe Borrow. They lit up the scoreboard

Transfers in Cristobal's culture just don't work out. We need to see the culture he wants built. Dye, and Sewell are Oregon. The transfers aren't who I want to root for, watch develop.

I have no patience when balls are dropped, blocks missed, and penalties are called on transfers.

I would rather sit through the development of an Oregon recruits learning curve than watching a transfers ceiling, and lack of Duckness.

Cristobal needs to decide what he wants to do with the players he recruits, develop them or try and be a one and done coach like Coach O. My feelings are raw, but this isn't the Oregon Football Program I knew and grew up with.

Again congrats to Utah, great program, coach, players.

    Agreed

The truth is....there are very few candidates that can replace a 10 win coach without taking huge risk.  But again...let's discuss after the hangover.

  9. I have more to say….Ty Thompson or JB should have gotten some important game reps at the start of the 2nd half. Why not….AB has not been able to open the field all season long. Why the heck not!!!! We may be the youngest team in America….and the most likely the

    most injured.No excuses in FBS.

  10. Bye….it’s been ALL WINDOW DRESSING!

All talk…Toughness, relentless, iron sharpens iron ( hog wash).Getting absolutely embarrassed and pushed all over the field. Our offense stinks…AB should have his uniform taken and a Uber called to rush him immediately to the airport.

  11. Appreciate the feed back Jon. I am a ginormous Duck fan. But have been so disappointed in our offense. Moorehead and Arroyo offenses are almost the same. We have play makers. We just don’t get them the ball. Pittman leaving is a big red flag. Huge loss in my eyes.
