What is in the past should live in the past. We are here and now. If it takes adding SDSU plus SMU to the fold to make the Pac 12 whole, then I am for it.

Probably a crazy idea but BYU would be a good fit. Any chance of ripping them out of the Big 12?

Good point. It seems like traditions may need to be on the back burner when moving forward. A huge part of tradition is leaving in the form of USC/UCLA. Maybe it's time for the Pac to reinvent itself.

On these new tvs, are you able to switch between apps and regular tv pretty quickly/easily? I have an older tv, probably about the age of your old one. I have a firestick. It is such a hassle to get into an app, then if I wanted to check on something on broadcast tv, often times I just don't go back to the app. Also, I never pause because of the syncing issue! BTW, I have Verizon Fios. Had Comcast, but their service was horrible!

I don't switch back and forth. I usually just watch a movie or TV series on Amazon or Netflix straight through. Maybe some Pandora once in a while. Then go back to Dish and use the DVR to watch recorded shows.

However if I were watching Thur night football and wanted to switch back to Dish all I have to do is hit the power button on my Dish remote and goes to the last channel live. To back from there to Amazon I hit the Prime button on the LG remote and it goes back to the last show in resume mode. Pretty basic.

I've had zero issues with Comcast internet. Dish has given me a few fits now and then but their customer service IMO is pretty good. Hardly any wait time when calling about an issue.

I'd appreciate it if someone would tell me what current internet service provides the speed and bandwidth to provide anything streaming

without constant buffering.  Good old cable is the only one I know.

I have Comcast internet and an LG OLED TV with built in apps for Amazon and Netflix. I have zero buffering. Previously I used an Amazon Fire stick and a 7 year old not all that smart TV and got buffering on occasion.

Not enough to ruin the day but it became annoying sometimes. It also took much longer for either of those apps to start up.

Also any pausing of the program would cause the lips and sound to fall out of sync. That has not happened once with the new LG smart TV.

I will also add that the picture is phenomenal.

  4. Not sure what the big deal is. It's not a full length arm tattoo or big neck tattoo. Looks like a private only a few will ever see tattoo.

Ducks play the Beavis and UCS at Autzen this year. Away at UW and UT.. OOC looks 3-0. 1-2 losses seems possible for in conference. Not sold on a CFP invite yet.

It seemed like zero QB pressure this year. That to me is the biggest need for improvement. Williams and Penix are going to give Oregon a tough time. If Rising returns and is healthy that's another tough game. Beaves just signed a decent mobile QB in Uiagalelei.

Gotta be able to sack or pressure those QB's and have some lockdown CB's to have a chance.

  6. Bowl games always seemed more for the players than fans. Most fans don't travel to bowl games so to me it's about the players hard work being rewarded. Yes the portal/opt out and coaches leaving has taken the luster out of bowl season.

But many times the games are still be fun to watch. It's also important to remember that at the end of the year when the media tally's up the total W/L for each conference that it's probably all a moot point because too many teams are not at full strength.

So if your teams conference sucked during bowl season take it with a grain of salt.

I'm actually looking forward to the game. I guess that's what happens when you're addicted to Quack.

  7.  I have no reason to feel good about our QB backup at this point. Doubt Card would sit a year when he could start somewhere.

Novosad is untested so no upside vs Ty. There's still time for all this to sort itself out but as of now I don't think the ducks are in a good place if Bo gets hurt and misses playing time whether it's one qtr or a whole game.

Chip Kelly is 27-28 while at UCLA. While at Oregon he was 46-7.

Dante might want to consider where he wants to end up a little better than Chip did. He might also want to consider why Chip didn't have him come down for a regular league game. An empty stadium isn't a pretty site.

SoCal and sunshine. LA vibe. Warm beaches, unlimited night life. Hard to say what would sway an 18 year old from Detroit.

Someone should tell Moore that there is no guarantee that UCLA or any other school won’t bring in a transfer QB. Chip should be fired if he put all of his eggs in one basket, that of an 18 year old. He was on the hot seat last year, and one would have to believe that UCLA will take a step or two back next year.

DJ Uiagalelei’s name has been thrown out there as a possible transfer to UCLA. That would be a good fit.

Agree. Pure speculation at this point. This move by Moore does reek of prima donna though.
