Chip is not a likely choice if Phil is involved, which I think is a certainty since the contract needed to get the new coach will require Phil agreeing to fund any amount not able to be covered by the athletic department. Chip’s direct lack of respect to Phil prior to accepting UCLA job still does not sit well with Phil.
