  1. Numerous studies in Leadership and the corporate world show that a bunch of average brains will outperform a group of MIT, Cal Tech, Harvard, etc. elites, if they work better as a team.  Fit for the scheme, development, etc. blow away a high load of "stars".  Coaching continuity is important.  Saban had a culture that could sustain that despite losing coordinators and assistants annually.  A testament to why he truly is the GOAT, hopefully Lanning can replicate that culture, and perhaps retain assistants at a higher rate.  $$$?

56 at home against anyone is not getting it done. We’ve reverted to the old school big man game just like the last two seasons, it doesn’t work

I thought this might happen.  DA's success was more of a small ball game, guards and wings.  Dante's numbers are good but not really anyone else.  Not sure how bigs make smalls shoot poorly.  FT shooting was poor again this week.  Not sure the game hasn't passed DA by

This is exactly the reason you take the points instead of going for it on fourth down. These coaches gotta quit playing video game football. Especially on the road.

I said it at the time...don't pull a Lanning, kick the field goal.  Now they are down 3, we'll see how this ends. It changed the tone of the game for the Lions

  4. Makes me 🤢🤮 and to think 3 points and it could be us.  I think we could compete on this stage.  Recruiting should get us to this level quick.  DeBoer must be a heckuva coach...the mutts don't have this level of talent on paper.  I guess we look better now.  I still have to root for the cheaters next Monday. 🤮

Paly Hawaii or don't play Hawaii the 2024 Off Weeks remain the same.

I read they were considering changing the date to accommodate UH stadium situation, which would mean losing one of our bye weeks...August 24th is it or we lose a bye week, so I'm just saying if UH can't handle that date, don't play them.

  6. I'm not surprised at all with Shelstad, I think he'll be a lot better than Pritchard by next year, it's just if he'll stay for 3 years...I think if Cook was healthy, he and Shelstad and Evans are going to be a huge core starting group.  Keep Dante healthy, and Kario and the other guards...look out.

Curious on thoughts about the bigs being out...are we better?  One good big has never hurt, especially for the D side, against teams with a great 4 or 5...but Altman's history has been more of a small-ball style with great passing, and shooting, which the last couple years, we have not shot well at all.  Bittle and Dante didn't seem to compliment that well when they were both healthy, they are both really the same position, didn't seem to blend trying to play 4 and 5 together.  Seemed better giving each other a breather.

Big's that can shoot the perimeter are the rage nowadays...how does that fit DA's style?
