I wonder which Tyler Shough they are rating? The Tyler Shough in the first half of the season, or the Tyler Shough of the second half of the season.

It's just real hard to beat Alabama at recruiting. But then if we could ever beat them on the field that would change.
I have read that JTT is waiting for in person visits before declaring. I believe that if he comes to Eugene and sees the facilities and talks to the team, he will be a Duck.

I am really looking forward to softball season. I hope all games are televised (I know that is not likely, but hey, you can always hope.). Our new coach has been around for a couple of seasons and has really built a solid team. In the games that the Ducks played last season, before the season was cancelled, the Ducks were scoring like crazy. Looks like they have added some new talent and should have a good run at the Pac-12. GO DUCKS!!!!

If the Ducks play like they did against USC, we will win. If we play like we did against the beavers, we will lose. It is in the Ducks hands.

The Cyclones have a reverse scenario where they are not used to being the favored team, and for programs that are experiencing the rare air of being in the top-ten...being upset is more likely than happening to this newbie than to a Blue-Blood program.

One thing that I think is interesting in collegiate softball is that a freshman can come in and make an immediate impact on the team. Oregon has some great freshmen coming in. Let's see where the team places at the end of the year.
