Now we wait to see what comes out of ESPN and the ACC.
The sky isn't falling just yet... There are still plenty of moves to be made.
If the ESPN talks die then yes... The sky is falling at that point.
If the money wasn't there for a full merger with the Big 12 it certainly wont be for a partnership with the ACC

Really only 2 options in this the Pac 12 stay together for a mediocre TV Deal or the certain schools being discussed join the Big 12

I think only certain teams from the Pac 12 join the Big 12 now they tried a partnership and it fell through the Pac 12 is in trouble

There is a lot of chatter going on that the TV Deal numbers are not looking too good for the Pac 12 and team's are starting to have meetings and discussions on what they should do

yup and neither will benefit the PAC for a long time --revenue speaking
Actually thats false the numbers back up the PAC 12 teams need to be joining the BIG 12 for a way better pay day
-
If those numbers are accurate the Pac 12 is going to get left behind a full merger or multiple teams joining the Big 12 is the best option

People have been saying a lot of things lately. The BIG12 is not going to share current TV revenue with oncoming PAC schools either.
Merging completely with Big 12 and a loose Alliance with the ACC are 2 different things

Maybe a possibility in a few years or more But The PAC needs TV $$$$ NOW.
They said with just the 10 you have the money and eye balls just wont be there for a decent tv deal

There are reports still saying a Big 12 - Pac 12 merger makes the most sense

Big 12 is the best option a loose partnership with the ACC won't work I've already seen reports on it

Pac 12 is living on borrowed time a loose partnership will not work with the ACC and no Big 12 schools are gonna leave for the Pac 12
