  1. I hope they get the Moore award as well.  This OLine was miles ahead of where I thought they could be, and doing so without Strother and Angilau who I think most assumed would be in the rotation if not starters.  guards Jones & Harper excelled along with the Tackles Conerly and Cornelius

... really hope we have 3/5 come back for the B1G shift next season... but if this was JPJ's swan song season, a BIG salute to this team-first player who always rally'd the team and fans and truly embodied the spirit of being a college athlete.  I still remember him playing DT in emergency as a freshman and how his Motor and relentlessness was something I had'nt really seen on the lines since watching Nick Reed.  STUD🏆

  2. Coach Dan Lanning:  'The middle 8!!!!'  'it's all about the middle 8'

Also Coach Dan Lanning (during the middle 8, NOT turning a gifted INT into points): 'uhhh, we're aggressiveeeeee ((terrible decisions & play-calls)) hahahhoa'

😭 it's just young hubris.  having just managed to make it out alive of my own YH life-inflection... I don't fault him.. but I hope his turn is quicker than my own20+ years of EXTREME hubris.

We kinda had that in 2020... Washington forfeited to Oregon, as they couldn't field a team due to COVID protocols though it wasn't called a forfeit. And then we beat up USC.

We made BOTH absolutely miserable. One of the finest moments under Cristobal.

Though 2020 was a miserable year for the most part, I loved ordering (and now wearing) my 2020 Conference Champs hat!  It only means something to doogs or rubbers 🤣

I'm really looking forward to this matchup and the wife and I plan on traveling to the 2024 game in Eugene and spending a week or so in the area.

Any advise on where we need to go and what we need to do while there? We're up for anything but we love hiking and going to the local restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions.

I'm actually strongly considering driving over next year to Lubbock from AZ..  is that..  even advisable?   Thanks for your help!

Utah all the way.  A W over Georgia would be spoiled by an L to Utah.  Deja vu tosu and Stanford games last year.

Nothing spoils that Win in Columbus for me; as far as I'm concerned, given what happened with coaching and unused potential, that WAS the season.. for me at least (But I flew to Columbus on a hunch that we'd win a week before watching the Fresno opener at Autzen.  Those were also the only two games I attended.. make of it what you will:)

IF we pull off a win IN GEORGIA on National TV vs. the defending national champions, it not only means more on a national perception scale but as others pointed out, millions more views is priceless in that neck of the woods and would pay exponential dividends, while a Georgia L and Utah W don't = Playoffs.  Sure you can hypothetical it out in all sorts of scenarios all you want, but the answer is a Georgia Win 🙂

He just chooses when to do it and if either of those Utah games were any indicator's he shut himself down because he clearly should have dominated that O Line of Utah's and he didn't show up and that is a huge RED Flag.

HUGE disagreement with you on this take.  DC Derueyter did JACK SQUAT to move him around so that he could be a disruption.  Utah OC simply put the play away from KT both games with epic results.  This was particularly confusing considering his history with creating havoc with that joker position concealing the point of attack, whereas instead we got to witness the mailed in game-plan with coaches lobbying for new jobs in Miami or Elsewhere when their focus should have 100% been the kids and the season.  I don't think any of them deserve to be coaching the bowl game, but I don't get paid the AD big bucks.

  7. Really understand the QB feelings everyone has, but I sincerely hope AB goes and has an all-time career night against Chokelahoma and leaves riding off into the rest of his life as a Duck transfer QB who:

-was invaluable in securing last years Pac12 Championship We won thanks to him

-this year Beat UW WSU OSEWE tOsU and maybe OU too???

all while not being that exceptionally gifted, yet still was able to do enough to put up 250+/gm total offense.    Good for him and go ducks BEAT OU!
