  1. This game was exactly what we needed. Better competition from what seems to be a well coached team. We took a 34-0 lead while not playing our very best.

Mistakes at the end give the coaches material to coach hard with.

We probably anointed the offensive and defensive lines a bit early

I need more and more of Moore and Moore

  2. Lanning obviously thinks this Oline is twice as good.

2 really's for this year, just one really for last year. Seriously though in listening to each of the coaches interviewed the past few days, I have really (just 1) gotten the impression that they love the entire team, offense and defense. I did not always get that impression last year.

Then again I always get excited about the team every year at this point in preseason practice.

I'll ask this. Are Oregon fans angrier at Willie or Mario?

For me personally, Taggart was a blip-- I got to the point with Mario that I could barely stand to watch Oregon play, the offense was so predictable any defensive coordinator in the country could stop it, I was not sorry in the least to see him leave, and then he managed to even do that poorly.

Oregon advices Duck fans to wear Green, wear Yellow or wear Black.

Montana State game will be a “Stripe Out"

Wisconsin game (TBD).  This game possibly reserved for the “Stomp Out Cancer Event”

    Indiana game wear “Yellow"

All travel games and OSU wear “Green"

USC along with Oregon State will be a "Black Out"

Fond memories of the Fright Night black out, Oct. 31, 2009 game against USC:

I think I am probably alone in my distaste of someone deciding what I should wear to a game. It seems to be a thing for all sports.

I know that "I" need to choose what I wear, as the combination I choose will more than likely determine the outcome of the game.

( It has nothing to do with my distaste of being told what to do)

  5. I really enjoyed Chips time at Oregon. His teams were the most fun that I have ever watched. Nothing about that changes for me after he left. I will always like him.

His 11man comment felt to me, like good- my team, your team banter. It sounded like sounded like 2 good friends with different allegiances arguing in a bar.

Good call by Fuskies. this guy quit half way through his season with Texas and spent the rest of the season bad mouthing his team on social media. Word on the street is he wasn't showing up for workouts.

But not a great call by the Huskies. They were, in fact, the team that chose to sign him in spite of all those red flags.
