NJDuck Moderator No. 1 Share Posted December 21, 2023 Once upon a time it would be an aberration for a football recruit to leave their high school early, enroll into college and participate in spring ball. But now it’s the norm and it seems as if the kids can’t wait to get onto the Oregon campus in Eugene and become Ducks. The quicker these kids are in the system, the quicker they’ll be able to develop and help out. Only four of the new recruits that just signed will wait and join the team in the summer and all of those are on the offensive side. Every single recruit expected to play defense will be in Eugene in the coming weeks to provide depth and talent to a unit that’s already stocked with both. Oregon’s 2024 class has been heralded as one of the top classes in the country and second in the Big Ten, only behind Ohio State. Here’s a look at who is expected to enroll early and participate in spring ball: The majority of Oregon's newest recruits will be early enrollees DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM A large number of the Oregon Ducks who signed as part of the 2024 class are expected to enroll early this year.
Just Ducky No. 2 Share Posted December 21, 2023 Interesting to read the Bios of this talented bunch. If you get time take a look. I like to see the number of other schools who recruited these young studs actually tells us a lot. Love the size of most of the Dbs. Maybe we can take over as Linebacker University sooner than later. As the hours count down until Oregon takes on No. 23 Liberty in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, the attention draws closer to the game and not the activities surrounding the program over the past two weeks. In those past two weeks, Oregon has gone through early National Signing Day and welcomed a few early signees on campus and at the bowl game to participate in practices. Among the newcomers are CB Dakoda Fields, WR Dillon Gresham, DL Tionne Gray, OLB Elijah Rushing, QB Luke Moga, and TE Roger Saleapaga. Fields, Rushing, Gresham, Gray, and Saleapaga were all four-star prospects in the class of 2024, with Moga entering the fray as a local player from Arizona. Rushing is the second-highest-ranked recruit in the class of 2024, coming in at No. 17 in the country and one spot behind fellow five-star Aydin Breland...
