Duck Podcasts

Recommended Posts

During the football season, podcasts were included with the game for that week. Podcasts still are taking place, just not as often.

I also have noticed that the podcasts now are covering more than just football. For instance, the one following includes some talk about basketball.

Those podcasts will now be posted under this thread as they occur. Also, check older podcasts Right Here as we will keep the thread to no more than 50 podcasts at a time.

Check back often for some informative listening..

Ducks LANDED ELITE LB & #1 DL from Portal and DAN MIGHT NOT BE DONE THIS WEEKEND!!

We have 6 players in the 2025 class, even though that puts us 21 team ranking, the players individual rankings are averaging in the 90s.  This is just the beginning of what Dan Lanning will churn out for this class!

Quack Watch?  Could we secure another recruit before the weekend ends?  Maybe Peyton Woodyard?

This video has some good info.

Great hype train, could Oregon fans experience both football and basketball playing for the national championships in 2024?

Oregon Football gets HUGE news on 5-star WR Dakorien Moore

2025 5-star WR Dakorien Moore decommitted from LSU and has been tied to Texas as the leader for the class' #1 wideout. Oregon is going to challenge the Longhorns (and Ohio State) for the Duncanville, TX product--and they've locked in an official visit.  (Even though Oregon gets last visit, most are saying he will commit to Texas.)

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin recaps a big recruiting weekend for Dan Lanning and his staff. Lanning and co. have at least met--if not surpassed--expectations on the recruiting front since arriving to Eugene. And it should continue. 9:50

Oregon Basketball is going to have one of its most hyped teams since its Final Four squad in the 2016-17 season. Is this the best team since then? Plus, Oregon Baseball looks to defend its Pac-12 title crown as the #3 seed. 20:15

Oregon Footballl has real reason to feel better than Ohio State post Spring

Ohio State and Oregon are the top 2 favorites in the Big 10, with both fanbases feeling supremely confident in their team. Oregon fans have a legitimate reason to feel just a touch better than the Buckeyes right now.

Today's episode of Locked On Ducks with Spencer McLaughlin is a crossover with 'Locked On Buckeyes' host Jay Stephens. How big of a concern is it that Ryan Day's team doesn't have its QB situation figured out? 10:00

Spencer and Jay also look at the top units for both teams coming out of Spring practice. The biggest matchup just might be the trenches for the October 12th showdown. 20:10

Oregon is chasing multiple 5-star recruits in 2025, including Dakorien Moore

Oregon has one 5-star commit in 2025 in WR Dallas Wilson, and they're trying to add another 5-star at that spot pushing hard for Dakorien Moore. How many 5-star commits will the Ducks land in the class of 2025?

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by Locked On recruiting insider Brian Smith. Dakorien Moore is the biggest 2025 name Oregon is after, but he shares updates on several other blue chip prospects the Ducks are pursuing. 10:35

The NCAA recently changed recruiting rules to allow for unlimited visits. What does that mean for recruiting in Eugene? It's probably good news.

Oregon Football has a weak non-conference slate. Is that an issue?

Oregon moved its schedule around to keep the Civil War on the dockett, and they'll travel to Corvallis in September to play Oregon State rather than hosting Texas Tech. Is Oregon's non-conference slate being somewhat weak going to be problematic as they hunt for the Playoff?

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin dives further into Oregon's 2024 football schedule. He responds to a BOLD take about Ohio State coming to Autzen this year and whether or not they could be in for a tough day in Eugene. 9:25

Oregon Basketball's high hopes are not just confined to Eugene, as national media outlets are seeing them as the contender that they are. Plus, Oregon Baseball goes 2-and-out at the Pac-12 Tournament heading to regionals, but not all is lost. 20:55

Oregon Football's most impactful transfers in 2024 aren't all obvious

Oregon has had a great offseason in the transfer portal, and WR Evan Stewart from Texas A&M is the highest-ranked transfer according to 247Sports. Will he be the most impactful outside of QB Dillon Gabriel?

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin goes on to talk about Oregon's roster building to contend at the highest level. Where are they compared to recent national champions Michigan and Georgia? 10:35

Oregon is likely to be a preseason top 10 team, if not top 5 given the strong offseason they've had. Who else is going to be among the top teams in the land vying for playoff spots alongside Oregon? 20:05

Good Listen.

Oregon Football's offensive line could be BETTER than you think

Oregon had a premier offensive line last year which was a finalist for the Joe Moore award. Headlined by tackles Josh Conerly and Ajani Cornelius, the Ducks should have among the best offensive line units in the Big 10 this year.

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin is joined by Max Chadwick of Pro Football Focus (PFF). He breaks down a variety of newcomers for Oregon's defense to give perspective on what to expect. 9:55

Is Jordan James ready to be RB1? Oregon's 2024 high school recruiting class is the best of all-time for the Ducks. Which true freshmen are going to see the field the most this year? 21:10

Which Oregon Football FRESHMEN are going to play the most in 2024?

Oregon goes into the Big 10 with one of the best rosters in the league and one of the 5-10 best in all of college football. Their biggest relative weakness is at safety, which could see one or two true freshmen playing meaningful snaps. Where could a 1st-year player play on offense?

Oregon Football adding ANOTHER transfer? OL Bryce Foster could fit

Oregon's offensive line should be one of the best in the Big 10 in 2024, and in all of college football. So why would they be hosting Texas A&M OL transfer Bryce Foster for a visit this weekend?

On today's episode of Locked On Ducks, Spencer McLaughlin talks about 2 players who could see a larger role in 2024 than they had in 2023. EDGE Matayo Uiagalelei and RB Jayden Limar could both put up bigger numbers than last season, but Matayo is likely to take a bigger leap. 9:25

Oregon Baseball went into the Santa Barbara 4-team regional as the 3-seed and proceeded to win its first 2 games to make the Regional Final for a 2nd straight season. For the second straight year they're headed to a super regional--thanks to a complete game shutout from Kevin Seitter. 20:20
