Well deserved, not bad for a QB in his first year with a new team. Fortunately, the new team is the No.1 team in the country. Gabriel's only flaw is INT's in the red zone. He has been game manager, the same way Mahomes is a game manager.

No.

He's been about as good as Bo was his first year. Different, but overall about the same contribution to success and failure of the offense.

I'm hoping Gabriel becomes a run option weapon in the playoffs.

Perhaps he'll start playing a little more like second year Bo with the extra games and off weeks in the playoffs.

I'd like that 2nd year improvement but without the loss of being a dual threat QB.  Bo pretty much became a pocket passer in the 2nd season and while overall he showed improvement I felt like the lack of a QB running threat, in part, cost them those UW matchups.
