During the football season, podcasts were included with the game for that week. Podcasts still are taking place, just not as often.

I also have noticed that the podcasts now are covering more than just football. For instance, the one following includes some talk about basketball.

Those podcasts will now be posted under this thread as they occur. To see the previous podcast thread click Here as we will keep the thread to no more than 50 podcasts at a time.

PODCAST: Oregon Recruiting Hour

We’re in the February recruiting dead period, but there’s still plenty to dig into in the world of Oregon Football recruiting.

On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres is back with another edition of the Oregon Recruiting Hour. He dives into all the latest notes and analysis from his trip to Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California earlier this week to see top Oregon targets at the Trinity League powerhouse.

Max provides updates on big-time 2026 recruits like five-star receiver Chris Henry Jr., four-star tight end Mark Bowman and four-star receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt. But it doesn’t stop there! Mater Dei defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui, also an Oregon commit in the 2026 class popped up at USC last weekend for the Trojans’ Junior Day. What are USC’s chances for a flip?

2026 four-star Frankfort Heights (Ill.) Lincoln Way-East quarterback Jonas Williams also visited USC for Junior Day as the Trojans look like they’re making a push to flip the signal caller committed to Dan Lanning and Will Stein.

Oregon’s 2026 recruiting class ranks No. 1 nationally and is cooking with gas. The Ducks are also in contention for big handful of five-star recruits spread throughout the country, many of which are likely to take official visits to Oregon in the spring and summer months.

It’s always jam-packed with Oregon recruiting news and insight so this is another episode that you won’t want to miss!

Ducks to Hire New WR Coach, Jadon Canady Commits to Oregon

On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins react to the expected hire of Syracuse’s Ross Douglas as Oregon’s next wide receivers coach. He joins the Ducks after spending the 2024 season in New York with head coach Fran Brown. Douglas also brings NFL experience from his time with Bill Belicheck and the New England Patriots.

This hire comes amid speculation that Oregon running backs coach Ra’Shaad Samples could move back to wide receivers coach, a position he oversaw on Kenny Dillingham‘s staff at Arizona State.

Douglas doesn’t have an extensive track record of being an elite recruiter, but it’s not far-fetched to think that he could hit the ground running and take his profile to the next level with the Oregon and Nike brands in Eugene.

Additionally, Max and J Hop dive into the commitment of former Ole Miss defensive back Jadon Canady. Canady will spend his last college season with the Ducks after playing at Ole Miss and Tulane between 2021 and 2024. His decision to come to Oregon came shortly after safety Kobe Savage decided to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Oregon Recruiting Hour, Ducks Trending for Elite Defensive Back

The recruiting dead period is over, which means the spring visit period has begun here in March. Oregon hasn’t hosted a ton of recruits so far this month, but that won’t be the case for long.

On today’s episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins dive into all things Oregon Recruiting in the latest edition of the Oregon Recruiting Hour. They dive into the latest predictions around 2026 four-star Westlake Village (Calif.) cornerback Davon Benjamin. On3’s Steve Wiltfong and our own Justin Hopkins have logged predictions in favor of the Ducks for one of the best prospects out West in the 2026 cycle.

Max and Justin also give their thoughts on five-star Nashville Christian (Tenn.) five-star quarterback Jared Curtis, who is scheduled to visit Oregon this weekend. He’s down to a final two of Oregon and Georgia, with unofficial and official visits scheduled to both programs. Will this be the battle where Oregon finally comes out on the right side against Kirby Smart and Georgia, where Curtis was committed to at one point?

PLUS, Max and Justin tackle a ScoopDuck subscriber question regarding what will make Oregon successful and how success will be defined for the 2025 college football season. 2026 On3 Industry four-star Mater Dei defensive lineman Tomuhini Topui remains at the forefront of the discussion as USC and Oregon battle for the reigning Trinity League MVP.

Oregon Begins Spring Practice, Ducks Hosting Impressive Batch of Recruits

Spring Football kicked off for the Oregon Ducks in Eugene on Thursday. Lanning and and the Ducks held the first of fifteen spring practices. They’ll hold their second practice on Saturday, then take two weeks off for the school’s spring break before resuming in April leading up to the spring game on April 26.

On the latest episode of the Ducks Dish Podcast, ScoopDuck’s Max Torres and Justin Hopkins dive into some of their early thoughts as practice gets underway, as well as some top takeaways from Dan Lanning‘s first press conference since Oregon’s Rose Bowl loss to Ohio State in January.

Two players that dominated the discussion in today’s episode were Dillon Thieneman and Bear Alexander, who came over from Purdue and USC respectively. Lanning also mentioned there will be competition at quarterback, as well as every other position on the team.

Max and Justin also dive into the latest on the recruiting front. Oregon is bringing in a strong group of visitors on Thursday and Saturday to see the Ducks in action during spring practice. A couple of recruits that were discussed in today’s episode include Talanoa Ili, Tomuhini Topui and Chris Henry Jr. There’s also the big news of five-star Oregon tight end commit Kendre Harrison shutting down his recuritment.
