NJDuck Moderator No. 1 Share Posted Tuesday at 07:21 PM Legendary football coach Nick Saban doesn’t want Oregon Ducks coach Dan Lanning to be the “next Nick Saban.” Lanning and Saban's relationship goes back more than a decade and the two regularly keep in contact. In an exclusive interview, Lanning reveals what advice Saban has given him. Saban’s advice? “Be you and then figure out what your non-negotiables are and then be ready to adapt,” Lanning said. “And he was always great at adapting to how the game might change, great at adapting to your ability to recruit what that might look like, great at adapting to how you coach your players.
