In the case of Bralen Kasper, his big brother is on the team, Josiah Molden is the son of former Duck, Alex Molden, his other son, Elija Molden, went to the Huskies. Chase Cota, son of Chad Cota originally played at UCLA, before transferring to Oregon. Akili Smith's son is a Duck. Are these offers to Kasper and Molden any more than symbolic?

Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks have extended a scholarship offer to Xavier Berry, a 6-foot-6, 260-pound offensive lineman from Puyallup, Wash. Berry's weight might be considered light for a college offensive lineman, but it's understanding for his age, as he will be entering the eighth grade in the fall.

247Sports shows that Berry has scholarship offers from Washington, Sacramento State, San Jose State, and the Ducks.
