Oregon picks up 2027 commitment from 4-star Philly L

Oregon’s 2027 class is just outside the top 5 nationally. On Sunday, it received some good news from one of the top linebackers in the class.

Brandon Lockley Jr., from St. Joseph’s Prep in Philadelphia, has committed to Dan Lanning and the Ducks. Lockley revealed his pledge to Oregon to On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Sunday. He becomes Lanning’s second LB commit of the class, joining Salt Lake City’s Sam Ngata.

Oregon adds commitment from Brandon Lockley to recruiting run
Philadelphia (Penn.) St. Joseph's Prep composite four-star linebacker Brandon Lockley becomes the third Oregon Ducks commit in five days.

Lockley stands at 6-foot-2 and 216 lbs. He is rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports with an 89 rating, and has a four-star industry-generated 247Sports Composite rating with a .9018 score. Lockley ranks as the nation's No. 26 linebacker in the '27 class per the composite rankings.
