Pump the Brakes…

Rob Mullens might want to pump the brakes on 7mill a year for a guy who isn’t a proven coach, recruiter? Yes, he gets talent… but developing that talent seems to be a struggle… MC has been the head coach for 4 years… He inherited a 3000 yrd passer in Herbert, and he was our offense for those two years.

Since then QB play has been abysmal… last year was a wash because of Covid, and if my memory is correct we were blown out in the fiesta bowl… And didn’t he get an extension last year…? This year was a 10 win season but we didn’t play ASU or USC, and struggled against weaker teams..: and let’s be honest, the PAC 12 is a shell of a conference.

But it will get better. I’m thinking Miami may be just the spot for MC. For 7mill a year I think we could find a proven coach… Maybe someone who isn’t an assistant with a dream job somewhere else…
