A smooth mover with excellent suddenness as a pass rusher, Uiagalelei will need to continue to improve his ability at the point of attack in both run defense and as a pass rusher to reach his full potential at the next level. A skillful athlete for his size, the Oregon signee possesses all the physical traits you seek in a game-changing edge, which is often part of the frustration when Uiagalelei leaves you wanting more on tape. Although the flashes are special, the California native will need to become a more consistent presence in both the run and pass to become a Day 1 NFL Draft choice, which he’s fully capable of doing. With one of the highest ceilings of any pass rusher outside of 5-star status, there might not be a program better suited for Uiagaleilei to maximize his talents than Oregon.
