7.7 QBR
76 - 17 over 2 games to the best defense in the Pac12... Only reason I can think that MC stayed with Brown is to preserve TT's redshirt, for some reason. Did MC think that the same game plan would beat Utah? Smh... A new approach using a different style QB may have yielded better results. Maybe not a win, but a better than 7.7 qbr performance? Perhaps. Mario Cristobal is a hard-headed man, who appears to not enjoy offense. It's pretty obvious that his game plan is only out to emphasize offensive line play which is funny because they suck. You're going to safely assume that his plan has backfired. *This entire statement is my opinion only. Not to be taken too seriously.

Offensive Coordinator Replacement: Your Thoughts?
Warren Ruggiero - Wake Forest OC Zach Kittley - Western Kentucky OC Mark Whipple - Pitt OC All 3 have top 5 scoring offenses this year.

Moorhead out...
Reports are surfacing saying Moorhead is going to be the next HC at Akron. Looks like the offense will possibly take a step back next year. MC will hopefully make a great hire, someone who can bring more "juice" than JM did. Let's pray he doesn't promote from within (i.e. Mastro), because we need innovation, energy, and firepower on offense. The game with Georgia next fall is gonna be tough to watch. In the meantime, Go Ducks! Beat Utah!!!

Miami Boosters Serious about Acquiring Cristobal
I don't think Mario would do too well in Miami. Not the recruiting, but because of the fact that he doesn't seem to know how to keep his team together. Miami is a place where, let's just say, people can get into trouble. Just my opinion.

Oregon/OSU GameDay Thread: What is Oregon’s Identity? What Should it Be?
Yeah I know, but that's misleading. It's still 420 miles for Utah, vs 860 miles for the Ducks. But like I said Oregon represents pretty well so I feel like there's going to be plenty of fans there. The real questions are the ones that happen on the field, not in the stands. And like Haywarduck says, flying there, it's pretty much the same. So my point is pretty much moot.

Oregon/OSU GameDay Thread: What is Oregon’s Identity? What Should it Be?
The bigger picture here is how is Oregon going to handle the team that gave them one of the most embarrassing losses in recent history. And one could hardly argue that Las Vegas is a neutral site for Utah since it's a state over. But either way Oregon travels pretty well on the West Coast so it should be hopefully pretty even as far as fans go. But that doesn't matter when it comes to the fact that we were outplayed in every facet of the game last week and we can't afford to get our asses whipped again.

Oregon/OSU GameDay Thread: What is Oregon’s Identity? What Should it Be?
Yeah they screwed up on the score keeping and they said it was 31 to 38 when I was typing that. Who cares now the game's over woohoo goducks!!

Oregon/OSU GameDay Thread: What is Oregon’s Identity? What Should it Be?
I really feel like you shouldn't pull all your starters when you only have a 9pt lead. I get what y'all are saying though.

Verone McKinley got really lucky.

Utah GameDay Thread: Is Pursuing the Playoffs a Crock?
Oregon's luck was bound to run out. All the people claiming that Oregon has the best win of the 2021 season will hopefully shut up now. It doesn't matter what you do in week 2 if you cannot win in week 10, 11, 12, etc... MC needs to do something different if he's ever going to get Oregon to the promise land. He has to make tough choices for the better of the program. Whatever that is. What's the definition of insanity? ... MC clearly doesn't know. Good win, Utah. Tough loss, Ducks. Move on. There is one more team to face next week... And if we win, then it will still be a good season for a true Duck fan. Go Ducks!

Utah GameDay Thread: Is Pursuing the Playoffs a Crock?
Part of me thinks the Oregon coaches want to lose this game so that they get matched up in a bowl game that they actually have a chance of winning so that they get that nifty Bowl bonus... 🤔

Utah GameDay Thread: Is Pursuing the Playoffs a Crock?
If the defense is just going to stand around and let the Utah players get wide open then they might as well just go home!

Utah GameDay Thread: Is Pursuing the Playoffs a Crock?
I had a bad feeling about this game. I didn't want to say anything, but it's time I speak up because sometimes when I say something, then for some reason I get proven wrong. So, let's hope this is one of those times.

Nebraska got robbed... clear PI and the refs just ignored it. Frost is right to be pissed off.

Looks like Bama is putting this one to bed. But it's not as an impressive win as tOSU.

Other Games Thread
Jebus ... tOSU just wiped the floor with MSU! It will be interesting to see how Bama does, because like 30Duck said, tOSU's performance should have them nipping at the heels of Georgia. Oregon and Alabama are just trying to hold on to a playoff spot right now. The other two are clearly the favorites. If Oregon doesn't show up bigtime vs Utah, then we might even end up out of the top 4 by the time all is said and done. I would just love to see Oregon firing on all cylinders, like Ohio State is. Go Ducks!

WSU GameDay Thread: Will it be DeRuyter Day?
The refs hate Oregon.

Husky GameDay Thread: The Men of Washington are NOT Championship Grade
Of course, WSU gets a bye week before playing us. We can expect another close battle next week... Or perhaps a whoopin'? Also, ASU's Uni's are horrid 🤮

Will running straight ahead into a pile of dudes work in the playoffs if we make it? Asking for a friend.

Please tell me we didn't lose to Stanford
We didn't lose to Stanford..... Last year.

Utah
All I can think is that luckily Utah doesn't seem to have much of a passing game, and that's Oregon's biggest weakness on defense statistically. So if we can stop their rushing game, which is going to be tough, then we may well just have a chance. Our offense is going to have to play lights out though. And the defense is going to have to be super stout against the run. I give us 30% chance to win. Either way we should end up with a nice bowl game, and plenty of experience for our young team.

Utah
Is Utah looking as good as I think they are? I know Furd is having a down year, but man, the Utes are manhandling them on both sides of the ball! I can't believe Oregon lost to Furd... 🤦🏻♂️ Hopefully Utah is well ranked when we play them, and hopefully we beat them!

Oregon Football: Cardwell the Ducks’ Next Star RB?
"In 2009, the Oregon Ducks had just lost 19-8 at Boise State. In Chip Kelly’s first year as head coach, it was a difficult loss on national television for the Ducks, who were coming off a huge Rose Bowl win the previous year. " The Ducks went to the Rose Bowl in 2008? Pretty sure it was the Holiday Bowl , and they beat Okie St. Right? 🤔 However, they did make it to the Rose Bowl in 2009, where they lost to Ohio State. 😒 Cardwell definitely looked good, though. Excited to see him further.

Colorado GameDay Thread: The Best Approach to the Endgame?
This is a tough one because we want our SOS to be as strong as possible, yet if tOSU wins out, they might jump us(assuming we win out, too) in the final CFP rankings.

Colorado GameDay Thread: The Best Approach to the Endgame?
The offense playing well today helped. Otherwise, the defense prolly would have had their backs against the wall in the 4th.
