  1. No depth in the playbook. Defense is lost. I love my Ducks, but I’ve seen this too many times over 40+ years. Tez hurt, James hurt. No chance. See y’all again in August.
  2. The nuts are faster and much better prepared. Much more physical. Our offense is so. damn. predictable. They know what’s coming and are fully in position.
  3. Settle down Duckies. Focus. It’s a long game. Open up the playbook, Stein!! Scooooo!!
  4. I wouldn’t say we escaped. But damn … good teams make their own luck. Great work, Ducks!
  5. Not only is the Ducks D getting manhandled, but they’re confused as well. The ghosts of decades of Oregon’s vulnerabilities are still visible. They’re better than they’ve ever been, still not convinced it’s quite enough yet. Yet!
  6. Ducks play better overall, but the Beavs don’t go quietly. Ducks win 35-21. 0 turnovers. 1 sack. 295 passing yards.
  7. Ducks! 45-14 1 turnover 3 sacks 351 passing
  8. Gotta remind ourselves that it’s the first game with many new faces. Biggest growth happens starting tomorrow. Still, there are some good signs now. It’s a loooong season. They’ll clean it up.
  9. Too little, too late. WA got healthy at just the right time. We’re injured enough at just the wrong time.
  10. Ducks look exhausted. Really, they got outplayed tonight. What a bummer.
  11. I think maybe they started to believe their own hype. Play the game, not the occasion!
  12. Ducks are nowhere near ready for the big lights.
  13. Defense, time to adjust, start locking it down. Offense, time to adjust. Time to explode! Go Ducks!!
