Chance to double salary and go to the B1G seem like compelling reasons.
I’m sure they won’t touch football in an overt manner, but salary wise would they be able to (politically and fiscally) double their coaches salary? Keep assistant coaches?
This is the way for them I think

And
TUCSON, Ariz. - University of Arizona President Robert Robbins says in order for the school to get its finances back in order, employees will be laid off.
The Southern Arizona-based public university is grappling with a $240 million miscalculation of its predicted cash on hand, and Robbins told the university's Faculty Senate that there will be employee layoffs in the Athletics Office.

I have absolutely no idea what these issues are, but I certainly hope he can pull himself together and start to play somewhere close to his potential for the Ducks.
Sorry to be a bit of a Debbie Downer here, but one should not always rely on high school recruiting rankings as a predictor of success for a third-year college player.
1 or 5 star in HS doesn’t matter, he’s considered the second highest rated player in the portal that everyone wanted in 2024.

Michigan comes calling and I very much doubt that UW would and could match the offer while still being a B1G junior partner.
I’m going to go with DeBoer goes to Alabama if they can’t poach an SEC rival, and Michigan promotes a “Michigan Man” from the current staff…which will most likely be a mistake.

It's over for now.
We all HATE that our coach is constantly being looked at for "better" jobs but at the same time we need to be honored that we have a coach that is THAT good.
I’d say it’s over for good unless he goes to the NFL one day. Dude just did what would have been unthinkable just 2-3 years ago.

Harbaugh as a dark horse for the Alabama job? He's been cagey when reporters have asked about his future recently. My head tells me Lanning will stay at Oregon but still very nervous. If there's any job that could pull him away, this is it.
Harbaugh will be fleeing the college game most likely, high chance of show cause being slapped on him.

At Michigan is a must win? I think thats got to be the most likely loss to pencil in. I think if we defend home and lose no more than 2 on the road = a great year and an appearance in the conference championship.

Guess the semantics didn’t work out. That answer was totally shifty and conditional, definitely not emphatic
