    Which is exactly what ESPN and the SEC care about. Of course, both of those entities have monopolized college football, USC is trying to buy relevancy.

    Is the NCAA truly the most useless organization that has ever existed anywhere? Since the beginning has there ever been a time when, "thank goodness the NCAA was there" uttered? Now the NCAA is Blockbuster Video in a streaming world.  As far as USC, is throwing $$$ at high school kids really a strategy?

    This is what Oregon is doing. Other schools are spending millions on recruits to commit, without any assurance that they'll stay.  The Ducks got water splashed in their face when Wesley went to Texas, and I still don't want OBD to engage in a bidding war, when Oregon feels like a player is worth investing in Lanning will be there.

    So far Oregon has mainly stayed out of the auction setting that recruiting has become now days, but will, should they go all in for this stud edge rusher? The article says he's a life long Tide fan, but does that matter anymore?

    On the other end, Purdue is at 3.5 +154. This would be a huge step up for the Boilers, who lost coveted safety Thieneman to OBD! I don't see 4 wins, maybe their best chances are the first two games, at home against Ball State, 3-9 in 2024 and Southern Illinois, 4-8.

    Speaking of the Titanic, I don't see Arch Manning shouting, "I'm the king of the world!". Ohio State is an iceberg, and Texas can see it. ASU without Skattebo wins it all? Nah. I didn't like it when Clemson trotted through its ACC schedule to the BCS and I definitely don't want them winning another, and please which is the real "Death Valley?

    Lanning has 35 wins, Bellotti is No.1, 116-55, 678%. Lanning is 35-6, 854%. If Lanning goes 14-2 for the next 6 years, he'd be 119-18, 869%, so if he wants to stay until he is the winningest, he will be around a long time.
