  1. Ducks cannot beat Utah without Nix playing the whole game. As others have written, offense has not been able to generate even a few 1st downs when Ty has played. Of course, even with Nix defense will have play much better and coaches will have to avoid decisions that are very questionable if Ducks are to have a chance against a good Utah team that has handled Oregon recently. Let’s hope for a surprise win.
  2. Interesting article. I know it would be a very small sample size; but I wonder where the Dennis Dixon lead Oregon offense would rank in this schematic?
  3. The Ducks have a history of losses to supposedly “weaker” WSU teams in Pullman. I have sat through a couple of those debacles. This will be a tough, perhaps season defining game. Oregon will have to play extremely well to win.
  4. I just find it difficult to believe anyone watching the Ducks play this year can think they will win more than 1 game in the March Tourney. Their lack of size and the inability of most of their players to creat their own shots will NOT change. I am more hopeful for next year.
  5. Just my first ("test") post on this site. I look forward to utilizing it going forward. I have appreciated the FishDuck offerings since their inception.
