So many, many transfers of 5 and 4 star players from the Ducks. The replacements are not of that caliber. The defense was limited to zone this year because of the lack of athletic ability. The offense was so deficient in 3 point shooting that teams could clod the middle and control the rebounding. The only bright spot was the development of Kyei.
No Oregon commitment or possible commitment was even mentioned at the girls high school All Star game yesterday.

Thank you for the belated LOL

4 Duck transfers played in conference tournaments yesterday or today: PaoPao, South Carolina. Jazz Shelley, Nebraska. Goglic (sp?), UCLA, Rogers, Texas A&M. All 4 excellent 3 point shooters, defenders, rebounders and college basketball experience.

5 star (9) and 4 star (4) players transferred out the last 3 years. That was and is the unaddressed problem.

Transferees probably talk among themselves, to other players and recruits (high school, AAU) why they transferred from Oregon,
-
HDuck tells why.

All the Oregon out transfers in the last 2 years indicate a serious head coach liability.

The running game is missing. Washington's defense's game plan is well designed and being executed. Bucky is not up to his usual escape from the first contact. Noticed that last week also.

This team is smart and talented. Guards and forwards are sharp shooters, assist makers and in your face defenders. If Kennedy Basham is able to play they will be a load to handle. Fun to see how they play.

Penix throws perfect spirals every time - no wobble!. He will be star in the NFL if healthy.

Paopao has been in the weight room! Finally some talented freshman scorers, Isai, Gray, and VanSlooten - excellent. The number 2 recruiting class is just that.

Kelly called the same 2nd quarter after TD onside kick against Stanford in Autzen when Andrew Luck was qb and Harbaugh was coach. A game changer then and again today. Neither Stanford or UCLA recovered - pun intended.

Do not see Justin Flowe, number 10, on the sideline.

I remember Bigby as being a 4 star. Don't know why she got so little playing time.
Oregon has two 4 stars from Arizona: wing Jennah Isasi and post Kennedy Basham (6'7"). As of November 2021, Gray was nationally ranked at 7, VanSlooten 13, Isasi 35 and Basham 59.

5 Star Oregon Recruits Chance Gray and Grace VanSlooten played like 5 Stars at the McDonald All America Game. Gray is an excellent 3 point shooter and ball handler. VanSlooten is a solid shooter, rebounder and defender. Both are athletic and very good basketball players.

Only Nyara was a scoring threat of those leaving.
-
Stanford only. They could win it all again. Deep bench with multiple 3 point shooters.

Dugalic was injured most the year. When she returned in middle February she was usually the first substitute. Of the 5 5stars last year she was the most physical with potential to develop into WNBA player.
-
Mikesell was used as point guard after Paopao injury. She is best as a shooting guard.

Top players leave again. No top recruits are coming. The word is out.
