Miami will wipe their a$$ with Mario in a few seasons, he’s maybe a better recruiter, but he’s not a head coach, he road the coat tails of Justin Herbert here for his two best seasons, was Pac 12 champs last year by default, and clunked their way to 10 wins this year in a conference that is a shell what it usually is… I think he knows it, he’ll Probly not have an opportunity like this again, so he jumps… good for him, but Miami’s expectations are way up there, I think he’ll feel the heat sooner than later…

I hate to sound skeptical, I hope your right, but I herd this same thing with the last two coaches when they were hired… “Chips in the middle of negotiations, Mullens just met with Chip, he’ll be here in a few days, announcement coming….” Bla bla bla… like I said, I hope your right, but in reality, I don’t think Chip really liked Eugene all that much…

Rob Mullens might want to pump the brakes on 7mill a year for a guy who isn’t a proven coach, recruiter? Yes, he gets talent… but developing that talent seems to be a struggle… MC has been the head coach for 4 years… He inherited a 3000 yrd passer in Herbert, and he was our offense for those two years. Since then QB play has been abysmal… last year was a wash because of Covid, and if my memory is correct we were blown out in the fiesta bowl… And didn’t he get an extension last year…? This year was a 10 win season but we didn’t play ASU or USC, and struggled against weaker teams..: and let’s be honest, the PAC 12 is a shell of a conference. But it will get better. I’m thinking Miami may be just the spot for MC. For 7mill a year I think we could find a proven coach… Maybe someone who isn’t an assistant with a dream job somewhere else…
