  1. The school's new state-of-the-art indoor practice facility remains under construction. The school's plans include a new state-of-the-art 170,000 square foot indoor facility located west of Autzen and the relocation of both outdoor fields. The school has targeted 2029 for the completion of the entire project, but the outdoor fields will be completed before then. Here's a Look From Above of the Progress of Oregon's Practice Facility Upgrades

  3. I grew up in Eugene, attended the U of O, started as a Frosh in 1966, time out for 2 yrs in the US Marine Corps, then graduated in 1972. For me, anytime the Ducks win more than they lose is a successful season! The Chip Kelly and now the Dan Lanning eras are dreams never thought possible 50 years ago. 12 and 13 wins in a season outstanding. Beating the Huskies and the Trojans regularly, fantastic! The younger version of me, "Who woulda thunk?" This Duck is living on cloud nine!

  7. Tough to lose Dallas Warmack, but good luck to him in Kentucky. I'm sure Coach Lanning and Coach Terry can find a good up and coming line coach to replace him. On Sunday, On3's Pete Nakos confirmed that Oregon offensive analyst and former offensive lineman Dallas Warmack will become an assistant offensive line coach next to fellow assistant coach Derek Warehime and offensive line coach Cutter Leftwich, previously with the Ducks, at Stein's fresh Kentucky Wildcats staff. 9. Jon, just like Brittany Spears, "Oops you did it again..." Another great article written for Our Beloved Duck Forum! Gee whiz I wish I could write as well as you. "Look at the gene pool! Me and 23 guarantee that Archie can’t fail!" Great humor and wordsmithing Jon! Thanks!

  11. Thanks Jon for today's article which should bring a great deal of discussion! Too bad that the NCAA doesn't run the CFP like it does for all other levels. Home games for the first two rounds would be a vast improvement for fans and a reward for teams with a good record. Making a highly ranked team travel thousands of miles cross country to a Bowl site is absurd for the early rounds. Home games this year was a good beginning. I appreciate your contributions and knowledge to OBD Forum. Thanks!
  12. It's nice that Poncho will be back to lead the offensive line, and several backs up saw significant snaps. But the offense needs more big bodies up front. Bennett from Yale may help at Tackle. 14. I agree about Will Stein. Too many sideline out patterns (difficult throw and terrible if QB throws to the inside), and too many screens to the sideline for me. For the most part Dillingham was good. But I was disappointed in his quick departure after the loss to Oregon State. The two of them seem to be "birds of a feather" leaving the Ducks and not finishing their job.
  15. Thanks Wood Duck! I feel that our offensive coordinator did not prepare well for these last two games. I take hope that the new coordinator for the offense takes a long hard look at the game plans, go to the doctor, and grow from the hard lessons from this season. Grew up in Eugene since the 2nd grade in elementary school and graduated from Oregon. So, long time Duck fan. I will always be a Duck fan! I'm so happy for the 27-3 Ducks under Coach Lanning's leadership!
  16. Thank you Mike for your insights and knowledge of football that you share with us Duck Fans! The picture you have at the top of the article definitely shows Washington guarding the sidelines. I sure hope that Dante has been trained this second half of the season to take advantage of that (along with Will Stein). I always enjoy reading your take on Our Beloved Ducks!

  18. Excellent documentation Mike Whitty! Coach Cignetti was definitely playing the refs the whole game. His long career has helped him craft that skill set. Thank you for writing today's article! This picture should have earned him a 15 yard Unsportsmanlike Penalty! Getting a mere 2 or 3 inches nose to nose to a Referee and yelling into his face is not acceptable.
