My take is that to the victor go the spoils and that revenge is a dish best served cold. And what Chip said was cold. Funny, but cold.
DL may have shown more class, but then again, the Colorado "clicks" comment was pretty frosty.
Who knows what might have shown up in the Ducks vs Them segment had Oregon won the RB. Could have been a little salty as well but we'll never know as the footage is probably buried deep in bowels of the HDC.
So this whole thing is just part of the game and a rivalry is joined. It hopefully will just make OBD better and more determined going forward.

Geez, leave it to Travis Hunter to do what the defenders could not: Put DM on the ground. Thankfully, he was uninjured, but come on man!
Agree 100% The height of stupidity by Hunter as it was unexpected by Moore and he could have been injured. Character counts and having a Heisman doesn't bestow it automatically. Anyone else pulling that stunt would be spending the night in a Honolulu lock up.

The Polynesian Bowl is on NFL Network now. U$C commit Husan Longstreet found Dakorian Moore in the back of the end zone for the first TD. Special talent coming to OBD.Tradarian Ball in the backfield on the same team. Oregon, then Cal flip, QB Sagapolutele led the other team right down the field for a TD. Dang, that kid looks good, sorry Oregon lost him.
Tune in if you get a chance.

Although it is a bit bittersweet to watch high level players with remaining eligibility leave, you can only wish the best for what might be the biggest OBD draft class in history:

OT. Cornelius
OT. Conerly
TE. Ferguson
DT. Caldwell
DT. Harmon
DE. Burch
LB. Bassa
CB Muhammad
Possible/probable or UDFAs

S. Ty Johnson
CB. Manning
CB Reed

Obviously, the answer is easy...
We simply cannot let these Ducks play another home game in the tomb known as MKA.
As the old saying goes "Quiet as the tomb" Maybe now that the students are back MKA will get lit up when OBD plays. Turn that sarcophagus into a boom box. Note to UO athletic department: Continue to expand the $5 and $10 discount seat offerings for home games. Fill that 200 section.
Note to Duck fan: Buy those cheap tickets, come to MKA in droves and make some friggin' noise!

Gosh....a QB pulling the ball on Outside Zone Read...Oregon's never done THAT before in the Rose Bowl!
I have it qued up to the play...."Quarterback in the Clear!"
Agreed, it is old hat and maybe is too obvious a play. Just an observation based on what Oregon did last time they faced tOSU and that since Steins offense hasn't emphasized it, it could catch them unaware.
A TE on a drag route or Tez behund the short zone would give an RPO option if the LB doesn't crash.

There are so many candidates for the top secret weapon, but one may be hiding in plain sight.
Yes, getting Burch back is huge for the D-line against a less than 100% tOSU front five. We can't underestimate the potential of a spittle-less Holden to add a third WR weapon or a Swiss army knife Sadiq in the TE game.
Today's excellent updated tOSU film review by Hythloday1 at ATQ points out how Bucknut has changed some of their defensive scheme with varied success. It specifically focuses on a weakness of all B1G defenses: susceptibility to the outside zone read with a good fake on the crashing edge, the QB keep and no one in sight for 15 yards.
" The most effective category of running play, as it is against almost all Big Ten defenses, is a designed QB keep on misdirection, either QB draw, power sucker, or zone read (excluding sneaks as a special category, those are even higher). I don’t know why this conference can’t master the scrape exchange but here it is for about the thousandth time I watched this year, the end and the backer fire right at the RB, the QB pulls it out of the mesh and runs around them for 15 yards."

A preview of Oregon’s Rose Bowl opponent in PasadenaSo my vote is for the judgment and legs of DG. A similar play early in the 4th against them at Autzen gave him a wide open path to the end zone and tipped the game in OBD's favor. I wouldn't be at all surprised if WS calls up this wrinkle right when it is needed and Dillon romps for a critical first down, or more.

Compared to OBD v Tosu part one, the Ducks have two big pluses:
Jordan Burch and (hopefully) a full game of Traeshon Holden.
Bucknut is missing an All-American center and the tackle injured against Oregon, so at least one important minus. I don't think they got anyone critical back since Oct 12.
If both teams are at the same strength otherwise, there appears to be slight personnel advantage for the Ducks. I would expect much the same outcome.

All of the yapping and posturing is coming from the Tosu side. Pretty much crickets from OBD. Reminds me of a cornered animal arching its back and puffing up it's fur to look bigger. But emotion can carry you only so far.
Bucknut seems to have a mixed record with the high emotion approach. The pressure on them and Day to break the Michigan curse resulted in an epic fail. No doubt they wanted to win badly. Pride and a rematch with OBD in the B1G CG was on the line but smart coaching and great defense by Michigan pulled an upset that threatened Day's job.
Good for them that they rebounded at home, in an ice box, with a convincing win over an outgunned and vulnerable Tennessee. They had to, since a loss would have resulted in pitchforks and torches in the streets of Columbus, with the heads of Day and the Chipster decorating pikes in front of the 'Shoe'
The formula for beating Bucknut is there for the study with two different examples: Outscore them and grind them to a halt. The film on how to beat the Ducks doesn't exist. Throw in the emotional component as a factor, arched back with puffed out fur, and that undeniable sense of Tosu entitlement for good measure.
Yes, the teams are evenly matched. It will be a helluva game that will likely come down to a single score. And they do indeed want it soooo bad, to show Oregon who is really the best team in the nation.
May they do just that.

That's advantage Oregon in the two most important categories: QB and coaching. I also give Oregon the advantage in explosive plays, osu2 doesn't have a Tez, or a TE that can jump over defenders.
I might argue that WRs are a push, or slight edge OSU because of Smith.
I would add:
LBs slight OSU
TEs Oregon
And maybe as important:
Special Teams. Oregon

Putting up the Christmas tree while watching SMU v PSU, so I'm not really being distracted much. PSU and Abdul Carter have done to SMU what they could only dream about doing to Oregon in the B1G CG. The Mustang qb has made more bad decisions than Custer at Little Bighorn, the O-line has more holes than a Swiss cheese sandwich and I've yet to see anything resembling presnap motion or misdirection.
This game almost, but not quite makes me think Bama and DeBoer should have been in the CFP. Almost.

B1G Win for the Lady Ducks 63-59 over Michigan State!
in Our Beloved Ducks
Not the prettiest 3rd quarter and Philly missed 4 free throws in a row, but Ducks now up by 15 at 55-40. Expect MSU to foul Kyei every touch to stop easy buckets and keep her going to the line.
