  2. Pack 'em in: Arizona has sold more than 50K seats for Saturday's game vs. Oregon A Saturday sellout would be Arizona's first since its primetime loss to UCLA in 2015, the most recent time the UA hosted ESPN’s "College GameDay." It’s also the first time Arizona Stadium has sold more than 50,000 tickets for a football game since Arizona’s Territorial Cup loss to Arizona State in 2018. 4. Updated injury news for Oregon Ducks ahead of game at Arizona We seem so much better on the injury front this year than past years. Is it that "physicality" play that MC employs? 5. Christian Gonzalez looks forward to the challenges presented by Arizona's wide receivers Arizona will be sure to test Gonzalez and other members of Oregon's secondary, as Jayden de Laura attempts over 40 passes per game, completing around 62-percent of them. 6. As Oregon prepares to take on Arizona, James has maintained his edge at punter and the competition hasn’t ceased. The Ducks are 110th in average punt distance (39.13 yards) so far but would move up significantly if James is able to maintain his average over the rest of the season. Ross James takes over as Oregon Ducks punter, aiming for more consistency WWW.OREGONLIVE.COM James had five punts averaging 43.4 yards in last week’s game against the Cardinal, with two inside the 20 and one for 52 yards.
  7. Physicality, that's the name of the game! Run up the middle, then do it up the middle again...repeat.
  8. I'm not sure we'll win by 30 as noted above. I wonder if some of us are not giving the Arizona offense enough credit. Arizona may not look like the strongest team on paper, sitting at 3-2 overall and 1-1 in Pac-12 play. But make no mistake, this game isn't setting up to be a cakewalk. In their last three games the Wildcats have put up at least 30 points, including 43 against Colorado last week. Arizona's offensive strength is our defensive weakness... 9. John Canzano has heard these rumors from Pac-12 officials themselves. If the Pac-12 wants to retain its best football officials, it needs to be pro-active. The Big Ten is apparently sniffing around. If we think the officiating is bad now, just think what it would be if the better ones were poached! Canzano: Big Ten coming for Pac-12... officials? 11. Ranking Oregon's top 10 players in win vs. Stanford according to PFF grades The Stanford win was a great team effort but this article looks at individual performance. 13. This article is from an Arizona writer. I think it is a true assessment of where the Wildcats are at today. Their passing offense is great but their defense needs some work. Jedd Fisch’s team has an offense as dangerous as any and it is paired with a defense that, well, is not. The Arizona Wildcats may have reached their ceiling Saturday night. Is that the best Arizona’s got? Maybe, and that’s alright Is that the best Arizona’s got? 14. All the penalties were concerning during the Stanford game. The Ducks can't win against good teams doing this. Ducks committed 14 penalties for 135 yards while beating Stanford, its most penalties since Sept. 23, 2017 against Arizona State and most penalty yards since Nov. 2, 2019 against USC. 18. Well, I am ready to move on. If we haven't seen anything from TT by now to give us some hope, I am not sure he is the one to get us to Nattyland. I know MC did him no favors, but he should have learned some basic fundamentals by now. Confidence on the big stage is something that some people never get and I am not sure we can wait for him to get it. I'd like to see what Butters can do. He seemed more confident to me in the spring game and someone mentioned on another thread that he can throw dimes. What this offense needs is someone to throw dimes. Plus we need to know what Butters can do in games too. If neither one is a potential starter, then the coaches need to know that going into next year. It would be great if Nix stays another year to mentor Dante Moore.
  19. I was looking for something humorous to put into the FishDuck Feed and ran across this! The game was at Arizona in 2019, but I can't tell the opponent. Is there a referee interference call? Only in the PAC-12 does this happen...
