I may be proven wrong at some point , but Bray is not the guy.
They were so unprepared for that fake punt that you could see coming so clearly.
Also what am I missing with regard to Malik Murphy? They paid $1.5m in NIL money for him and i'm not sure that was a good investment.
Also unless i missed it somewhere else, he (Bray) never really could bring himself to say Oregon was good. Last three opposing coaches acknowledged that the Ducks are good.

2 hours ago, Jon Joseph said: OBD is 1-1 in 2025. I enjoyed this game far more than the first game. 🤬
Former SC QB coach and now BTN football guy Yogi Roth was effusive with his praise for Moore after watching him practice during BTN's fall football camp tour. Roth noted the arm strength is as good as it gets and that he believes Moore will contend for the top B1G QB spot and possibly a trip to NYC for the Heisman show.
That was Men against Boys, but no different from last year's opener when OBD bumbled, stumbled, and fizzled.
I think the loss in the opening game of 2025 has OBD super focused from the coaching staff on down.
I just hope Pregnon is OK, and I wonder if Hughes is out for the season?
Whittingham looked to be faster, quicker, and over his 2023 injury. The RB room is deep. Davidson will be a monster.
Go Ducks! Buck the Cowboys.
PS - How sweet is Texas and Bama going down on the same Saturday? Dante played better than the touted SEC newbies.
Loss in the opening game of 2025?

might have been a good DC but was a horrible person.
He and Mario loathed each other.
He was forbidden from recruiting when he was at Oregon and never actually moved to Eugene. He rented an apartment.
I never was a Cristobal fan but i did agree when he told Leavitt he couldn't recruit for the simple reason it would be pretty hard to sell a kid on coming to school in Eugene when you don't even live there.

31 minutes ago, HDuck said: Lanning and NFL?
KC's Andy Reid is 67 years old. I have my doubts KC would hire Lanning if that job became open in 2026. The most successful NFL coaches have some NFL experience. But, if Lanning had a CFP championship on his resume then all bets are off. In my opinion, Lanning would be interested in that job despite which school his kids are attending.
Dan specifically addressed the KC thing in multiple interviews.
He said at one time that was his goal. Now he says it is not. He said his vision has changed.
Do we believe him? I am going with yes on this one given he has been pretty honest to date.

Disliked Taggart big time, but disliked Mario even more.
Mario straight up lied to Mullens and Phil when they asked him if he was talking to Miami. He bold faced denied it. Funny thing, he started talking to John Ruiz on the flight back from Columbus when Oregon beat Ohio State in Columbus. So the net is Mario was laying the ground work to go to Miami in October of that year yet when ‘asked’ about it before Oregon lost to Utah in the P12 championship, he said he had not discussed anything with Miami. That was on a Friday, on Monday he called an 8:30 am team meeting and announced he was leaving.
In talking with a couple of guys who played for Mario, they said there ‘was absolutely no team culture’ and when Mario talked about the family environment, players again said it didn't exist.
One of those same players said Mario never once had the team to his home.
Have had a chance to meet and talk with some current players and all have said Lanning has the team to his home all the time and we know Bo was a regular at Dans house. All describe Dan as being ‘real’. Never heard that about Mario.

Someone with close ties to the Helfrich coached teams told me the players had zero respect for Helfrich and that he was totally out of touch with them.
There was a lot of infighting on the team and there were a couple of situations involving racial matters.
The net was Helfrich lost the locker room very early on and was never able to get it back.
I personally don't have strong feeling either way about him but he was never a long term fit at Oregon.
