Thomallister1291 No. 1 Share Posted September 19, 2023 (edited) University of Oregon schedules in Big Ten are still ‘TBD’ WWW.OPB.ORG The UO Board of Trustees met Tuesday to hear updates on athletics conference realignment. I found this article about Oregon's schedules when they eventually join the Big Ten in 2024, a part that caught my eye was one saying that Oregon may just schedule teams that are located close to the state (aka former Pac-12 teams), and we may continue scheduling random Big Sky opponents over and over again, this is most likely because we will travel to states like Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey pretty often. While I do appreciate that we are looking to keep some former Pac-12 matchups alive, I still wanted to play an SEC foe in a home and home series... Jon Joseph Moderator No. 2 Share Posted September 19, 2023 I'd much rather play a H+H with Cal and Stanford than with any B12 school. Ducks will have to replace the H+H with Michigan State and the return trip from Ohio State. Permanent Ducks B1G opponents? UCLA, USC, Washington, Wisconsin. It is going to be fascinating to see how the 2024 schedule comes down and how many of the B1G 3 Oregon will have to play.
