Jon Joseph Moderator No. 1 Share Posted December 29, 2023 (edited) ACC - It has not been a good bowl season for the ACC; this, after being Final 4 snubbed. To date, all of the ACC ranked teams have lost. ACC teams are 4-6 with 2 games left. W - BC, Duke, Georgia Tech, VA Tech L - No. 15. Louisville, No. 19. NC St, No. 24. SMU, Miami (Time Out!), UNC, Cal Left to Play - No. 22. Clemson vs. Kentucky, No. 5 FSU vs. No. 6 Georgia. ...................................................................................................................................................................... B12 - Heck of a bowl season for the B12. With 1 game left to be played, the B12 is 6-2. All ranked teams have won their games and the B12 finishes the bowl season 2-0 vs. the SEC. W - No. 14. Arizona, No. 20. Oklahoma State, No. 25. Kansas State, West Virginia, Kansas, Texas Tech L - UCF, Utah Game Left - Iowa State vs. Memphis B12- You Are On Notice - Arizona is bringing more than a basketball team your way. ........................................................................................................................................................................... SEC - Because of the fact the SEC is good, plays 8 conference games, and is located in Dixie bowl territory, the SEC always plays in many bowl games with most bowls being meaningful games played late in bowl season. (Not as meaningful today, as once was the case, with many the player opting out.) Many bowl games are traditionally (and due to contractual agreement) played vs. B1G teams. To date, the SEC is 0-2 with A+M losing to No. 20. OK State and No. 12. Oklahoma taking the loss last night vs. No. 14 Arizona. Games Remaining - Kentucky vs. Clemson/ Auburn vs. Maryland/ Missouri vs. Ohio State/ Georgia vs. FSU/ LSU vs. Wisconsin/ Penn State vs. Ole Miss/ Texas vs. Washington/ and Alabama vs. Michigan. A whole lot of meat left on this Southern Fried chicken. ............................................................................................................................................................................ B1G recap - 5-0 to date with wins from UCLA, Northwestern, Minnesota, USC, and Rutgers. Like the SEC, the B1G plays a lot of late in the season bowl games. The only game left for the B1G not being played vs. an SEC opponent and shown above is No. 8 OREGON vs. No. 23 Liberty. The battle for Power Hegemony is ON! Go Ducks! Extinguish the Flames!
