Matt Zenitz of 247Sports reports that co-defensive coordinator Chris Hampton will have his position coaching role expanded from working with safeties to all defensive backs. Hampton already holds the title of co-defensive coordinator. Hampton’s promotion follows the departure of Demtrice Martin to Michigan State. Per Zenitz, Hampton turned down multiple defensive coordinator offers from Power 5 programs to remain with the Ducks.
