Oregon (11-5) is taking on a highly improved Cal squad that is 11-3 and coming off a victory over Stanford, and SWEPT UCLAWhew!  Their coach formerly was at Stanford, and took them to Omaha in the past, so the Ducks have their hands full.

Oregon's pitching is...not great.  Our starters are very average, and our reliever depth is not as good as I'd hoped thus far.  Oregon suffered a jarring loss at home on Tuesday to Portland, 15-5, where every aspect of our game was not good.

I am looking for improvement, and I'll bet we see quite the fight in Our Beloved Ducks this weekend!

(And it will be PERFECT weather for Baseball! Go to the game or watch it streamed by going to GoDucks.com, then Baseball, then Schedule, and the scroll down to the first Cal game, and click on the link)
